I agree! Sometimes the sauce is the main reason we enjoy certain meals. Example, here in Jamaica most of us love Jerk Chicken...however, the flavor that we love is really the sauce, if done right. Make sure to try that when you visit Jamaica.
If it wasn’t for the sauce I wouldn’t like Chick-fil-A or Raising Cane’s. And at Chick-fil-A I only like the chicken nuggets. I used to only eat them with the Zesty Buffalo sauce, but now I will only eat them with Chick-fil-A sauce. Raising Cane’s chicken has zero flavor. Like they are afraid of herbs and spices. But their Cane’s sauce is so freaking good. It’s the only reason I go there😂.

I had to find out why the chicken tenders at chick-fil-a taste different than the chicken in the sandwich and found this. Apparently it is a different recipe…. “The strips are actually marinade in a deiffrent marinade than the nuggets and fillets. The marinade used on the tenders is apparently sweeter than the other chicken marinades, additionally as the name says…. They are are more tender.”
I think the chicken honestly might’ve tasted strange not because it didn’t have a bun in ranch like she’s used to but because it may have just not been a great piece of chicken. Even Hannah said the chicken didn’t taste right so it could’ve been chicken that was sitting under a warmer a little bit longer than usual or it could’ve been a piece that was over cooked or something like that

Cuz even Hannah said it tasted different. I know a couple times I got a sandwich that was like dry and not as good as it usually is too and my husband got one at the same time and his was fine. So it is possible. But..the only way to have known would've been to have them try it too to see. And I know their buns do make a difference but people like their nuggets just as much so it's not just the sandwich. This was interesting tho. Glad Aaron's won! I know that had to make him feel good. His was probably the healthiest too cuz the others probably have a bunch of preservatives.

But I'm curious if you were to make one yourself and use peanut oil if you could get it to taste similar. Obviously their breading is different too but still..I wonder if using peanut oil gives it that distinct flavor too.
I’ve only had ChicFilet a few times but each time I notice the wonderful texture of the chicken the most. It tastes incredibly fresh and I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that it’s chicken from different regions and that it’s never been frozen.
Have you guys tried Jollibee Fastfood? There's one near your area in mesa az. In 2022, their chicken was hailed by Eater's, the best fried chicken in America. They also have chicken sandwich there, fries, diff. burgers, sweet Filipino style spaghetti, pineapple refreshers, mashed potatoes, adobo rice, peach mango pies and others. I firmly believe, bella would love their fried chicken.
