    Albuquerque Turkey (David Grisman)
    Violin - Mark O'Connor
    Mandolin - David Grisman
    Guitar - John Carlini
    Percussion - Joe Carven
    Bass - Jim Kerwin
"Wow, this is a real classic from the archives... Mark O'Connor sitting in with David Grisman, Joe Craven, John Carlini, Jim Kerwin, playing the Albuquerque Turkey. For those who were there (like me), David let Mark "keep going" as oft he did, and a good trade-off with the dawg at the end. Sorry for the poor video processing..."
    video: Tom Etheridge, 1989

Wow, that is some amazing improvisation there!
Continually thinking up new variations on the theme, with no breaks to think about what comes next, played at blazing speed with impeccable timing and tone!

Mark O'Connor is the only good thing Colorado has left to offer. From Hot Rize to the Denver Orchestra, I have been blessed with his wonderful adaptation of great music.

Is that what Bugs Bunny meant when he said "I shoulda turned left at Albuquerque"? Yes, that IS some good fiddlin'.
