I think that with Josh joining the band, their performances became more equally spread out on to the rest of the band, unlike when frusciante was in the band

I saw them 30 years ago at Lollapalooza in New Orleans at the UNO Lakefront Arena. What an incredible journey for RHCP since the inception of 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magic. What an impressive band.
They always play nearly the exact same tempo as their actual album versions! They don't try to speed it up to get em out of the way. You get your money's worth.
Ok first of all, I liked the video before the song even started because that intro jam was nuts. Secondly I love how flea’s slapping creates another percussion part of the band that ties together the bass and drums. Ok that’s it
