Cyrus is one of the best villains in Pokemon Adventures. The manga actually expands on the fact that he's not entirely devoid of humanity, something only hinted at with his friendship with Crobat in the games, and SPOILER ALERT Cyrus is full of heart and gratitude as acknowledged by Shaymin and through this, Shaymin gains the Skye Form. It's such an epic and unexpected great moment that shows a side of Cyrus you never seen before.

Mega Weavile: Here’s why. First of all, they both have crazy hair ( in a way), and Weavile is a Dark/Ice type, symbolic of Space’s atmosphere. Since Cyrus is the leader of Team GALACTIC, and Weavile is a menancing and cool Pokemon, I think that Weavile may get a Mega Evolution in the remakes.
To this date Cyrus seems like the best and most evil villain to date. He didn’t want to get rich. He didn’t want to change the world by flooding it or drying it. He didn’t want to get the full potential of Pokémon. He literally wanted to erase the whole universe and end it all and create a new universe for him. This dude literally wanted to destroy every single living thing in the universe. That has to be the most evil thing you can do.
Luis Cano he even manipulated so many people to join his cause and was legit about to cast em all aside to have them erased together with the universe. Best villain in the whole of pokemon i dont even care
Solaris from Pokemon Reborn. Nuff said. Dude wanted to recreate the world into one without pain or suffering. Used the most ruthless methods to get there, but he got shit done. His entire deadface explanation was that when he succeeded, all the pain, hate and murder he comittted would be wiped away and all would be reborn. He did it, but god that guy still gives me the chills. Absolute ruthlessness.
I dunno, there's something about Ghetsis. The way he treats N once his facade is blown, plus, Cyrus and most of the other evil team leaders have a Crobat or a Pokémon that evolves through love, showing that they still have some sort of a heart. But Ghetsis runs Frustration on a Hydreigeon, and the move has max power. Even his star Pokémon hates him, for me, that gives Ghetsis an edge.
To me it looks more like a combination of a futuristic spacesuit and the armor of a knight. But yeah. If you're used to the simple and unspectacular clothes that Cyrus usually wears it looks a bit wierd and over-the-top.
I personally think this is the best version of Cyrus's theme that I've heard, both fan made and official. The bass is superb, the instruments that sound very much like the original but yet with a crunchier OOMPH that the recent remake version didn't have. Very well done. I would be very open to you continuing to remix pokemon battle themes. :) Also I'm subscribing now yay
Cyrus might not be the best villain in Pokemon. But he surely has one of the best themes. Aside from gen 5 (not Ghetsis) and 7, you just can't beat those ones. Also, could you remix something from Pokemon Coloseum or XD Gale of Darkness?

I think your version right here sounds much better than the version in the remakes. Your version keeps the core essence of the song and is hyping up the listener.
But if that were true cyrus would have had to still understand and apply kindness enough to fool the pokemon. Its possible that crobat felt close to cyrus while the trainer never showed anything back. Its all about how crobat itself felt.
Lizardcuts Productions the person doesn’t have to like the Pokémon. The Pokémon however can. It doesn’t matter if someone hates you you can still like them or have feelings towards them. Cyrus doesn’t hate Crobat. I’m sure he doesnt, he just doesn’t care about what happens to it, he’s only using it to further his goals.

Cyrus one only friend is his Crobat. I remember the old man saying he always had his Zubat, and that he always was once a good person too. He wasn’t always cold. I think over time he simply casted his personal feelings aside since he had formulated plan to literally wipe out the universe and build a new one as it’s god. To do that one would have to set aside their human feelings. As he believes feeling/spirit is the source of all human conflict. Ironically his Zubat still believes in him and his ideals. So it evolved into it’s final form because they truly are friends, and with it’s power Crobat can help it’s friend.
Gen 1: we are thieves that steal Pokemon for financial gain Gen 3: We wanna flood/dry out the world for some fucking reason Gen 4: This universe is a dub, let's make a new one Gen 8: go Marnie
Cyrus is an interesting character on paper, but is just not well executed from a story perspective in the games (that's just me). The limited backstory with his grandfather they did give him only arose because of Platinum, his personality traits (ex. master manipulator/god complex) only get one cutscene worth of development, and that's not even mentioning his poor character resolution in all three games (namely, his plan being foiled by a random legendary rather than the player and simply leaving vowing to try again afterwards). That being said, I do have a soft spot for him given that I enjoy Gen 4 the most and considering his unique personality and ambition compared to the other villains of the franchise (seriously, you just can't top DESTROYING THE UNIVERSE in terms of stakes). As such, I consider Team Galactic underrated due to the expressive personalities of the Grunts and Admins that is unique among evil teams and serves as a nice contrast to his character (unlike Team Flare who feel like cheap knockoffs of Galactic in motives and lack the witty dialogue). Sorry for the long comment.
So I just noticed something that should've been obvious... Cyrus' theme is basically a dark remix of the Space Odyssey theme. I just mean that it sounds like it was influenced by it, like the main beat of it.... Kudos Pokemon, good on you.
Imagine this. Team Galactic under the control of Saturn. Trying to open a wormhole over sinnoh to get Cyrus back. You climb mt coronet, battling grunt after grunt. And when you reach the top, a cutscene plays where a trapped Giratina is about to open a portal and when he does, Cyrus walks out. Dialga and Palkia by his side. You, carrying an Azure flute, begin to notice a shake in your bag, it starts to play. And behind you, a set of stairs. Leading to Arceus. Cyrus forces his way past, makes his way up the stairs. About to reach Arceus. Before that, you stop him and take him on. His Honchkrow, Crobat, Weavile, Gyarados, Dialga and Palkia. You win. He persists and tries to use the Red chain to bind Arceus. Failing this. Arceus stops time, requests you to catch him yourself. You do. Time resumes and Cyrus challenges you to round two where he uses primal dialga, primal palkia and mega Gyarados. And you with your team and Arceus are Victorious. Looker watches from a distance and moves in to arrest team Galactic. After this, Arceus presents you each type plate as thanks. And you resume your journey across Sinnoh.
I must say, out of all Cyrus theme remix, this one still have that kind originality, but i like to hear the music without the Drum plays, just the music
I time traveled from 2021 and have played Pokemon Frozen Diamond and Glowing Pearl (Diamond and Pearl remakes). The Cyrus battle in Spear Pillar is so intense before you battle Dialga/Palkia and get the Adamant/Lustrous Orb to Primal Reversion Dialga/Palkia. Ask me a question about these games, like if the national dex is there, what certain trainers' teams are, and other things, and I will respond.
@@_ds_time5156 Spiritomb, Milotic, Gastrodon, Roserade, Lucario, and Garchomp holding Garchompite. The same Pokemon as in Gen 4, but with the Garchomp being able to Mega Evolution.
@@_ds_time5156 His team when you battle him at Spear Pillar is Honchkrow, Gliscor, Weavile, Crobat, and Gyarados holding Gyaradosite. It's his Pokemon Platinum team but Houndoom is switched for Gliscor. His Gyarados is the first mega evolution you see an opposing trainer have.
This should have been the missing second part of the in-game version of Cyrus’s theme in BDSP. I know it’s just a mashup, but it’s too bombastic and epic and overall just incredible for me to say otherwise

I personally think this is the best version of Cyrus's theme that I've heard, both fan made and official. Love Cyrus! Probably my favorite villain in Pokemon... Don't know why he and the rest of team Galactic get so much hate.

Cyrus is an interesting character on paper, but is just not well executed from a story perspective in the games (that's just me). The limited backstory with his grandfather they did give him only arose because of Platinum, his personality traits (ex. master manipulator/god complex) only get one cutscene worth of development, and that's not even mentioning his poor character resolution in all three games (namely, his plan being foiled by a random legendary rather than the player and simply leaving vowing to try again afterwards). That being said, I do have a soft spot for him given that I enjoy Gen 4 the most and considering his unique personality and ambition compared to the other villains of the franchise (seriously, you just can't top DESTROYING THE UNIVERSE in terms of stakes). As such, I consider Team Galactic underrated due to the expressive personalities of the Grunts and Admins that is unique among evil teams and serves as a nice contrast to his character (unlike Team Flare who feel like cheap knockoffs of Galactic in motives and lack the witty dialogue). Sorry for the long comment.

So I just noticed something that should've been obvious... Cyrus' theme is basically a dark remix of the Space Odyssey theme. I just mean that it sounds like it was influenced by it, like the main beat of it.... Kudos Pokemon, good on you.

Imagine this. Team Galactic under the control of Saturn. Trying to open a wormhole over sinnoh to get Cyrus back. You climb mt coronet, battling grunt after grunt. And when you reach the top, a cutscene plays where a trapped Giratina is about to open a portal and when he does, Cyrus walks out. Dialga and Palkia by his side. You, carrying an Azure flute, begin to notice a shake in your bag, it starts to play. And behind you, a set of stairs. Leading to Arceus. Cyrus forces his way past, makes his way up the stairs. About to reach Arceus. Before that, you stop him and take him on. His Honchkrow, Crobat, Weavile, Gyarados, Dialga and Palkia. You win. He persists and tries to use the Red chain to bind Arceus. Failing this. Arceus stops time, requests you to catch him yourself. You do. Time resumes and Cyrus challenges you to round two where he uses primal dialga, primal palkia and mega Gyarados. And you with your team and Arceus are Victorious. Looker watches from a distance and moves in to arrest team Galactic. After this, Arceus presents you each type plate as thanks. And you resume your journey across Sinnoh.
I must say, out of all Cyrus theme remix, this one still have that kind originality, but i like to hear the music without the Drum plays, just the music
As always, the mash-up is better than the original. Galaxies better than that techno-trash we got in US/UM.

I time traveled from 2021 and have played Pokemon Frozen Diamond and Glowing Pearl (Diamond and Pearl remakes).
The Cyrus battle in Spear Pillar is so intense before you battle Dialga/Palkia and get the Adamant/Lustrous Orb to Primal Reversion Dialga/Palkia.

@@_ds_time5156 His team when you battle him at Spear Pillar is Honchkrow, Gliscor, Weavile, Crobat, and Gyarados holding Gyaradosite. It's his Pokemon Platinum team but Houndoom is switched for Gliscor. His Gyarados is the first mega evolution you see an opposing trainer have.
