I am flying from Brisbane to New York to see David and his band at MSG on Sunday 10 November. Never had the chance to see Pink Floyd Live. I can't miss this wonderful opportunity. Bucket list experience for me! Greg S
You are going to love it! I flew from Sydney to Rome a month ago. That's a month of him warming up for NYC! Tip: Don't spend too much time on the phone. You'll find clips from your show here on TH-cam, and there will be DVD release sometime next year. Sit back and enjoy the show.
you'll love it. The MSG is one of the best places to see him, hope you got floor seats. I saw him both at the Intuit Dome in LA, which is identical venue to the MSG, as well as the Hollywood Bowl, and the Dome was infinitely better, way better sound, you sat way, way closer to the action, and Dave wasn't freezing his ass off, so he played absolutely flawlessly. He even did one extra song there compared to the bowl. 24 Songs in total, all 9 from the new album, maybe around 3-4 off his previous solo albums and like 12 Floyd songs. I was extremely satisfied with the show he put on. DO NOT LEAVE when you "think" the show is over, but I'm sure you already know, if you've seen previous performances of his.
@@4KConcertVideosthank you so much for posting. What a great capture. I was at The Hollywood w on 10/30 it was utterly amazing. The I ly thing we missed out on was the mirror ball. They didn’t have it on, I guess because of the outdoor venue but it was hanging there 🤷🏻♀️
I was there, and I thought the crowd was lame as fuck obviously, they’re old, but who goes to see one of the greatest guitarist of all time to sit down the entire show?? The band doesn’t want people just sitting there and they specifically asked for people to not record and that’s all I saw was fucking screens. When someone like David Gilmour ask his crowd to not record. With that all being said, I’m glad you were able to capture this and thank you for posting. My real big problem was with everybody just sitting in their seats. The (((vibe)))in there sucked. At one point, Gilmore was playing far more animated than he ever does when he was with hisdaughter and Guy Pratt was dancing. It was very obvious they wanted people on their feet.
One of the most iconic guitar solos of all time. Played by one of the best guitarists of all time. 78 years old and rocking like that. Also life memories for his daughter to share the stage with her old man. Perfection.
I flew there from Bermuda and was on the floor near the back opposite to this viewpoint. An unforgettable show and first time seeing Gilmour since the early days of post-Waters Floyd. I'm glad I was able to see this show - what a magical night.
I flew in from St. Louis for ELO and went to all four nights at the Hollywood Bowl and Intuit Dome. The mirror ball effect worked better indoors and the lasers are better outdoors. Powerful performances etched into my memory forever. What a show.
I was there it was definitely one of the best nights of my life I will never forget that night, David Gilmour is my idol his guitar work is the only stuff I play on guitar and Pink Floyd’s music really helped me through some tough times I’m beyond grateful for being able to see this legend!
After the "Numb" encore the house lights came on, l happened to look down and noticed on the floor under my seat a puddle of my tears. We witnessed something that quite possibly we'll never have the pleasure of seeing again. For a brief three hours that night all was right in the world. Pink Floyd has sent more people into outer space than NASA. If they don't play PF at my funeral then I'm not going ! Thank you David Gilmour
I completely understand that feeling. There's nothing quite like experiencing iconic music live. It's truly special to share that energy with fellow fans and the artists themselves. Hopefully, one day, there might be a reunion or a tribute concert that could come close to the real deal. One can always hope! And The only regret i will ever have in my will be me not getting a chance to see PinkFloyd live. 🥹
I wonder if he will? I think there are more "fans" ( NEW ones) & more enthusiasm than he was expecting, maybe? I hope, if he's "up to it"... physically & all,... paces himself accordingly; WOW, how wonderful that would be! "Strike while the iron's hot"....as the saying goes, right?
Was there - echoing others who attended - truly one the most memorable performances I have witnessed. Here lies one problem - how do you go back to listening DG after experiencing that majestic live sound? It's like going from a sturgeon caviar to White Castle. Things will never be the same (homage to Roxette's song - wink).
"So Romany- what do you do for father-daughter bonding?" "Oh, I rock out on stage while my guitar legend father rips out 'Comfortably Numb' for 25k mesmerized fans🤗" . . Top that🙄
6:55 Daughter headbangin''.
Watched that couple of times

I was in Rome october the 2nd, Worst audience ever. Wish I was in MSG. Such a beautiful audience. The best audience in this tour.

"old man"? Who is meant?
We saw this live last week at the Hollywood Bowl.
Great venue and a fantastic show ending with a 9+ minute "Numb".
Thank you, DG.
I was at the Oct 30th show. AWESOME
@@jessejames5825same! Beautiful show
From the clips i have seen from all four venues, i think the Bowl was the best sound. Such an amazing venue.
The UK-raine endorsement paid off ...
I was there. Carthotic, emotional and a final tribute from a musical genius and my guitar hero
Oh that outro!! The most beautiful few minutes of ecstasy ever written and played! 😢😭
I feel privileged to attend this event in person. A lifelong dream came true to me. My bucket list feels so lighter after this.

Love it when Guy Pratt narrates/sings! Goosebumps for the entire performance.
Arguably the greatest guitar soloist of all time! And Romany headbanging probably saying "Hey That`s My Dad!"

I thought David Gilmour auctioned off that guitar. Replacement? On loan?
This is a new black Strat that he purposefully got to look like the old one - heard that in an interview.
PS - the guitar strap is still the same, one formerly owned by Jimi Hendrix.
@@terryoconnor4235 crucially with a black cat sticker on it - which makes it worth $1m just like that
Funny how this one sounds just like the one he auctioned off for 4.5 million dollars!
LA VIDA TE CIERRA UNA PUERTA. PERO TE HABRE VENTANAS. DICEN.
Yep - voice and guitar playing are faltering with age. It was bound to happen; I'm just surprised it wasn't more evident years sooner.

Too much smoke
Can see David at the end saying “we don’t head bang to Floyd” cool all the same 😂🤔😂
Too much pressure on his voice, he cant hit the high notes perfectly anymore. Makes me sad to hear him like this.
