Can't believe there aren't 100's of messages here, this song is sensational and takes me back to the 80's and makes me think of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.

For some reason I always think of Sting when I hear this plus hearing Colin Hay in there was pretty narley.

Guy inspired many. Guy was emotionally and intellectually highly intelligent, super skilled, gifted with a passion,
and a surfer. And he loved his mum.
We know the accolades were not to be exclusively for James R... He needs to go home to his mansion and remember the actual band that got him there,
stop making money off a dead man's talent.

Well I really do like Mr James Reyne as WELL but with some of the songs Guy sang lead vocals on Erroll and Oh no not you again WELL I've noticed that on TH-cam that those TWO songs do have the most views out of any other songs that Australian Crawl have on TH-cam so what your saying that Guy might of been Bigger than JAMES I suppose it's a interesting theory that we'll NEVER know NOW unfortunately

this is brilliant, ive a question,a serious one,im 55 now i grew up in melbourne with aussie crawl all over the radio from '79-86 n when i say all over i mean they were on every single day for 6-7 years anyway i digress, was there foul play involved in Guys death ? why do i ask this ? bc i sense something is amiss,im not here to stir the pot, this gentleman was seriously talented

Guy was seriously talented as you mentioned. You need to read his brother Bill’s book; “Sons of Beaches”. It is an amazing read, very sad in parts, but clarifies what sadly happened to Guy… 💔

Aussie crawl were really successful in the late 70s early 80s and by the way Jack Jones was way after Aussie crawl had broken up.know influence was He what so ever
