Mentioning ' SHUDNT BE ALLOWED ' is not an opinion. Its imposition. you went to a school where you had been taught to change rules of a game without even giving a second thought that its an International rule.
SHESH GUPTA I am not changing the rules of the game...but merely suggesting. I am aware of the rules having played this game for a few years at state level. It makes angling ones shot much easier and takes the difficulty out of the game. Get my drift ?
The game is already so difficult and you are suggesting to make it even more difficult. Using one's body is very useful for lining up and directing the striker the way we want it to go without any hindrance. This technique can bring a lot of consistency to your game. I read Arun Deshpande's book on carrom. The author has elaborated on the art of using body. Best example is Sandip Deorukhkar. Great to know you played state level. please accept my apologies for the offense.
