It’s refreshing to see a modern Touhou character in a sprite animation, usually its just EoSD and PCB characters, (G.E.R losing is also nice to see sometimes.)
Did you mean to say character sprites like the touhou 7.5 to 12.3 fighting games ? Modern touhous also have sprites but they aren't chibi and this channel also has characters with modern touhous. Maybe you meant the touhous who don't have a sprite ig ?

Even though I prefer Jojo more, it was clear that Sagume was gonna win. GER can't do anything against reality rewriting abilities. This was proven in JJBA: Eyes of heaven. (Just felt like explaining why Giorno lost to Sagume to those who think that Giorno should have won, or is confused abt what happened)

Pretty cool animation. And I'm not just saying that because I agree with the results, but more because I actually...never see people use the modern characters. It's mostly just Sakuya and Yukari so it's nice seeing some lesser represented characters shown. And overall the quality of it was pretty dang good

Clarification to JoJotards: GE req's ability is reversing any event back to it's place, but Sagume's ability is on a much higher level than mere Return to Zero. She can reverse anything, regardless of what said thing is, by merely speaking of it, which explains why she could see Giorno's stand, even when she wasn't a stand user herself. This is because she previously had remarked it as some sort of a ghost, which reversed the rule of "only stand users can see stands". If Sagume really wanted to, she could delete GER entirely, or even reverse Giorno's mortality, killing him on the spot. A lot of Touhou characters are unimaginably powerful, if not for the spellcard rules, and this animation is a good representation of that.
Her ability is weird though, it only works when she talks about an event, she can't just say she'll lose and then have a confirmed win, but she said that the Protagonists would save Gensokyo and the Lunar Capital so the situation couldn't be resolved, which caused everyone to jump Hecatia basically

I thought she just ate celestial fruits and uses weird tools that aren't explained well, all ik is she's tanky asf and she has weird attacks with her sword and other tool she has, but Suwako's ability is simple, it's basically having control over earth geographically, so she can do stuff like she's an Earth Bender or some crap, and she can swim through the ground like Lemillion from BnHA except that she literally swims through it, Tenshi is really weird though with her tools being explained strangely

For those who are at a loss, or in anger. Accept the fact that this animation does not carry anything that should hurt your understanding or feelings. The author has their own concept forces for Sagume and Giorno. So he made his conclusion, but that doesn't mean it's true. I personally do not approve of the animation in which there is Giorno, because not only is it difficult to understand him, so he is also an undisclosed character. But still, the animation was interesting, i was very worried about both of them. This video deserves a like, for such an effort. Of course, this animation has its drawbacks, but it does not change anything. (When will the animation about DIO and diavolo be released?)

For the people that don't know sagume's ability, here is a official in-universe explanation that "hecatia lapislazuli" (goddess of hell) gives about her: "Among the lunarians, there's someone with the power to change reality by twisting the truth. It seems like they've been trying to take over Gensokyo with that power, and even now they're infiltrating you directly."

Her ability is reversing situations with her words. If she says that she'll lose, she'll automatically win no matter what. If she says she's gonna die, she'll live no matter what. Do you get it? Her ability of reversing situations is on the level of reality warping. Now her feats. She has created a secret "occult ball" that can change the world with words. In "touhou legacy of lunatic kingdom" she introduces herself multiple times and this is what she says about her ability every time: "i have the power to change the direction of the world with my words" And "I am a being who can change the world's course with my words" in the same game, she also manipulates reimu's, marisa's, and sanae's (the main characters) fate. It's a lot of text so I'll only reference a bit: "I shall put it into words. You can no longer escape from fate. Fate has begun to turn over." And in some official touhou literature. Hecatia (the goddess of hell) says that "there's someone with the power to change reality by twisting the truth" which is obviously referencing sagume. She later also says "well, i guess with the lunarian's power, anything you write WOULD end up true anyway" But that's basically all we have on sagume since she's not that popular of a character.

There has been a misconception about sagume power is that she makes something true but in her own words by accident, but judging by stage 4 of Legacy of lunatic kingdom, She manages to accidentally tell the protagonist about the plan of junko which involves wiping out the people of gensokyo for the lunarian's to move out of the moon (The Lunar Capital is what's really under attack. Via a method that renders us people of the moon unable to act, to boot. I was considering migrating to Gensokyo to prevent us from being wiped out. The people of the moon aren't aware of any of this, though. However, that fate has begun to be overturned right now. Our migration to Gensokyo will surely go unrealized. In exchange, you, an earthling, shall save the Lunar Capital! I shall now put it into words. You can no longer escape from fate. Fate has begun to turn over. Now, on to the enemy's home base, the Sea of Tranquility! (According to legacy of lunatic kingdom stage 4 story, this is from reimu scenario) 3. Giorno GER only works if stands have the ability to foresee the future, sagume has the ability to reverse a situation, judging by the animation, sagume may have reverse the situation greatly on her favor instead of giorno 4. GER Deathloop won't work on sagume, she isn't diavolo or what not 5. Touhou isn't anime you dumbass 6. Giorno won't win any battle, as there are some antithesis to GER as a whole. or he may win, if the circumstances and placement is right. 7. Nah i won't explain that 8. Return To zero only works on Diavolo, like i said, you can't make this shit up, and it won't work on sagume either because either she might say "Well at least death is pleasant" And bam she got out of the death loop or "Infinite death is kinda fun" and it applies the same thing. 9. I love to see some Touhou and Jojos Characters fight, well one reason why Giorno lost this fight (apart from the lack of information about GER and the exact function of Sagume's Ability), is in my opinion that apart from having one of the most powerful Stands in Jojos (at the moment) he stills to be a human, and Sagume is a Lunarian Divine Spirit (one of the strongest Species on Touhou) and what we saw in the events of Touhou 15, her ability affects more in humans (and Lunarians in the case of Reisen) and thanks to that, is why the final events of Touhou 15 go in favor to the protagonist; so Sagume literally a counter to GER (Well Touhou abilities are so OP, and some Stands too), I see this "reality struggle" confusing as hell. The winner is the character whose "reality manipulation skill" (lol) has more power and can surpass the other, so in that case, I put it in favor of Sagume because: Human < Lunarian Divine Goddess, and apart from that both has other abilities apart from that reality change (I don't how many times I mention it) like the Life-Giver of GER or the insane Danmaku of Sagume and in terms of knowledge, Giorno is a Mafia Boss of Italy and Sagume is an Influential Politician of the Lunar Capital (I let you choose who can win this hehe). Final Words: Igot-BR you did an amazing animation, I really love it :D I need to say that I am Team Sagume too (Sorry Giorno uu), I hope we can get new information about both in the future, and let's challenge other characters of both franchises with the same abilities, thanks for reading whoever is reading now this part, you have my RESPECTS.

I actually agree, since Giorno himself didn't knew the full Potential of Requiem, and Requiem full Potential is still yet unknown. Well i hope Araki did something to further Explains Requiem or give Giorno like Rohan did
Reminder that Touhou's gods can divide themselves infinitely with each part having the same amount of power as the original, and Sagume is a Lunarian goddess far stronger than any native god or youkai in Gensokyo. So yeah, Giorno never stood a chance.

So if Sagume went back to her original formless state and multiplied herself infinitely she would be basically omnipresent.

Gods unbounded by faith are even an harder challenge and probably require high-level reality warping to deal with them (in fact, Yukari herself knows she isn't on the same level of power as Yorihime, who links herself with gods easely).

yeah she's a tricky one to explain, she doesn't have control over it exactly but the TLDR is basically any event, or something similar, that she says out loud wont come to pass (it has limitations though) like if she says out loud it would rain tommorow then it wouldn't, she can't control what would happen instead but it would with 100% certainty not rain she's pretty strong even by Touhou standards but she doesn't talk much because she has to be really careful about what she says ^_^"
The animation is amazing, and it’s so refreshing to see new modern Touhou characters like Sagume ! The outcome of the battle is quite questionable for me, but it’s understandable since Sagume’s abilities are at least as strong or maybe stronger than Giornio’s, and she’s a “divine spirit” so I’m fine with it. Ok, given how much I’ve tried to comprehend GER recently, and the ability for Sagume to reverse or change situations with her words, I’m going to try and comprehend this. Starting with GER, it’s a stand that has a will of its own, like Echoes Act 3 or Spice Girl. With this in mind, despite what Giorno thinks, we know it can consciously revert any situation to zero, for however long it wants to, as seen with Diavolo’s infinite death loop. It has no weaknesses simply, but the same could be said about Sagume. Her ability to change situations, or reverse them from what I’ve read by just saying things seems unbeatable also. When she says something, it’ll find some way to come to fruition, by any means necessary. With this in mind, which ability comes out on top? I said before that GER thinks on its own, and so any damage that may or may not come upon Giorno will be counteracted and reverted to the previous situation, despite the circumstances. Does this also apply to Sagume? If she were to say something like “revert the stand back to its original form” would it happen, or would GER counteract it? It wouldn't necessarily be a direct attack on Giorno, so would it be countered at all? Because of the nature of these two abilities, and the fact that these two are insanely overpowered to the point where it just seems lazy, we have a hard time scaling them. That’s the nature of these types, or this fight specifically though, they tend to just lead to paradoxes, and that’s the case with most Touhou characters as well because they tend to be beyond op. There’s also the matter of situational things, like if DIO were to fight her, and kill her within stopped time before she realized it. Would she die before being able to speak, or no? Another question would be if she would be able to reverse a situation if Johnny hit her with Tusk Act 4, which we know causes every cell to rotate and doesn't cease, as well as being able to follow people through dimensions. Could she stop the rotation if she said it would? We also need to take into account that stands can only be attacked by other stands. I get that rule is ignored for the sake of making the fight more interesting and fast-paced, but in an ideal fight, that wouldn't be the case. The circumstances in which these characters fight also matter quite a bit, but for the sake of keeping these characters as faithful to their origins as possible, we should assume their powers are absolute, and so that brings us back to the question...Which power beats which other power? We don’t exactly know, and in that sense, this battle is unsolvable. I realize this battle is for fun and it’s beautifully animated as well. I’ve seen your other battles and the amount of progress made here compared to the others is beyond stunning. These two abilities just tend to make me think a little bit too much about who would win. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed this fight, despite Giorno’s loss. P.S. If I got any info wrong, please feel free to correct me and state your own arguments. I look forward to seeing what these two could also bring to the table.
GER reverts anything that is not an acasual attack/reality warp/concept warp/omnipotence/toon force/plot warp/5D attacks, Sagume counters GER via reality warp. Sagume can't die, so DIO time stopping is useless (also that reality warp can nullify time stop). with Tusk the same, can be reality warped like GER.

I'm not too sure if this is the case though. I believe what you're saying about reality warp, as some Touhou characters can practically just do that casually now, but GER's powers are also rather vague. I suppose that just comes with being an op stand introduced once at the end of a part, but the description simply just states that GER reverts anything to zero. This is rather vague and can come off as lazy from what I said previously, but the same could be said about Sagume's powers. I guess that's something I failed to mention too, that these power sets aren't descriptive at all. That just means it might be up to the fans to interpret how GER works. In that sense, GER may be able to stop reality-warping or all of the other things you mentioned, or he may not be able to. We just don't know, and we might never, we can only speculate and come up with theories I guess. It still gets rather confusing when considering that the "revert to zero" space is dubbed as its own reality within JoJo. I suppose multiversal comparisons weren't ever meant to be talked about in JoJo, which is kinda ironic considering Pucci's Made in Heaven ability. I suppose a more accurate character to compare Sagume to would be Dio over Heaven or Jotaro with Star Platinum over Heaven. I guess in this case you might also need to take canon into account though. I've never heard of him talking about that, and given how grand of a power GER is, it could've been assumed it spans universes. She overwrite the truth when she said “at this late I’ll end up losing the battle” and again when giono said “that not working twice” she said “you’re right” her ability like TWOH but really hard to use because she can overwrite only the truth that’ll happen and reverse it will happen to opposite reality And as she’s said “telling my secrets of my power in the middle of battle is stupid” because RTZ from GER can resets her ability too if the stand knows her ability and what she said too (GER reset everything that he knew that can hurt Giorno but if he can’t that’s why GER loses TWOH ) At least in the end Giorno still alive in the end this battle because touhou characters not kill each other even they want to kill everyone if they can. all of touhou battle will end with lose or win. That would be a hilarious April fool's animation, dio just sees giorno laying on the floor and goes to avenge him but sees a small girl who defeated him and dio just becomes disappointed in him and changes his mind on it and just goes home
They actually reflected the damage back to Sagume, you can see an effect of that in 1:13 with a pulse of air hitting her and at 1:40 instead of the Tree getting blasted with the beams, Sagume was the one injured, three Beams hit the tree and three explosions affects Sagume afterwards. It wasn't fatal to her because she's immortal.

Depends In SSiB Reimu implied that while she can borrow powers from the gods. She needs to be familiar with em. Reimu also can borrow the power from Kanako and Suwako because of the little moriya shrine in her shrine just in case reimu needs it. You can't forcefully conjure god's power if they're not willing. I doubt Hecatia would comply Toyohime's summon
I saw a bunch of people being salty over giorno losing. that's understandable (although the amount of Salt is definitely concerning) because Giorno is a loved characters by many and known to be op. However, people need to understand that to determine the outcome of the battle, you NEED to be able to understand what BOTH characters capable of. You couldn't just go "GeR go BrrRrR aNd WiN" without understanding what Touhou and Sagume is. Clarification to JoJotards:
GE req's ability is reversing any event back to it's place, but Sagume's ability is on a much higher level than mere Return to Zero. She can reverse anything, regardless of what said thing is, by merely speaking of it, which explains why she could see Giorno's stand, even when she wasn't a stand user herself. This is because she previously had remarked it as some sort of a ghost, which reversed the rule of "only stand users can see stands".
If Sagume really wanted to, she could delete GER entirely, or even reverse Giorno's mortality, killing him on the spot. A lot of Touhou characters are unimaginably powerful, if not for the spellcard rules, and this animation is a good representation of that.

For those who are at a loss, or in anger. Accept the fact that this animation does not carry anything that should hurt your understanding or feelings. The author has their own concept forces for Sagume and Giorno. So he made his conclusion, but that doesn't mean it's true. I personally do not approve of the animation in which there is Giorno, because not only is it difficult to understand him, so he is also an undisclosed character. But still, the animation was interesting, i was very worried about both of them. This video deserves a like, for such an effort. Of course, this animation has its drawbacks, but it does not change anything. (When will the animation about DIO and diavolo be released?)

Now her ability. Her ability is reversing situations with her words. If she says that she'll lose, she'll automatically win no matter what. If she says she's gonna die, she'll live no matter what. Do you get it? Her ability of reversing situations is on the level of reality warping.
Now her feats. She has created a secret "occult ball" that can change the world with words. In "touhou legacy of lunatic kingdom" she introduces herself multiple times and this is what she says about her ability every time:
"i have the power to change the direction of the world with my words"
And
"I am a being who can change the world's course with my words"
in the same game, she also manipulates reimu's, marisa's, and sanae's (the main characters) fate. It's a lot of text so I'll only reference a bit: "I shall put it into words. You can no longer escape from fate. Fate has begun to turn over."
And in some official touhou literature. Hecatia (the goddess of hell) says that "there's someone with the power to change reality by twisting the truth" which is obviously referencing sagume. She later also says "well, i guess with the lunarian's power, anything you write WOULD end up true anyway"
But that's basically all we have on sagume since she's not that popular of a character.

3. Giorno GER only works if stands have the ability to foresee the future, sagume has the ability to reverse a situation, judging by the animation, sagume may have reverse the situation greatly on her favor instead of giorno

6. Giorno won't win any battle, as there are some antithesis to GER as a whole. or he may win, if the circumstances and placement is right.

I love to see some Touhou and Jojos Characters fight, well one reason why Giorno lost this fight (apart from the lack of information about GER and the exact function of Sagume's Ability), is in my opinion that apart from having one of the most powerful Stands in Jojos (at the moment) he stills to be a human, and Sagume is a Lunarian Divine Spirit (one of the strongest Species on Touhou) and what we saw in the events of Touhou 15, her ability affects more in humans (and Lunarians in the case of Reisen) and thanks to that, is why the final events of Touhou 15 go in favor to the protagonist; so Sagume literally a counter to GER (Well Touhou abilities are so OP, and some Stands too), I see this "reality struggle" confusing as hell.
The winner is the character whose "reality manipulation skill" (lol) has more power and can surpass the other, so in that case, I put it in favor of Sagume because: Human < Lunarian Divine Goddess, and apart from that both has other abilities apart from that reality change (I don't how many times I mention it) like the Life-Giver of GER or the insane Danmaku of Sagume and in terms of knowledge, Giorno is a Mafia Boss of Italy and Sagume is an Influential Politician of the Lunar Capital (I let you choose who can win this hehe).

Reminder that Touhou's gods can divide themselves infinitely with each part having the same amount of power as the original, and Sagume is a Lunarian goddess far stronger than any native god or youkai in Gensokyo. So yeah, Giorno never stood a chance.

@@iamepicfumo2360 Probably, yeah. In one of the books ZUN says gods normally don't have a form, but take on a fixed appearance because it's easier for humans to worship a god they can see. So if Sagume went back to her original formless state and multiplied herself infinitely she would be basically omnipresent.

Touhou gods are a-conceptual in nature, but faith tends to be their weakness (faithless gods can become youkais).
Gods unbounded by faith are even an harder challenge and probably require high-level reality warping to deal with them (in fact, Yukari herself knows she isn't on the same level of power as Yorihime, who links herself with gods easely).

yeah she's a tricky one to explain, she doesn't have control over it exactly but the TLDR is basically any event, or something similar, that she says out loud wont come to pass (it has limitations though)

The outcome of the battle is quite questionable for me, but it’s understandable since Sagume’s abilities are at least as strong or maybe stronger than Giornio’s, and she’s a “divine spirit” so I’m fine with it.

Ok, given how much I’ve tried to comprehend GER recently, and the ability for Sagume to reverse or change situations with her words, I’m going to try and comprehend this. Starting with GER, it’s a stand that has a will of its own, like Echoes Act 3 or Spice Girl. With this in mind, despite what Giorno thinks, we know it can consciously revert any situation to zero, for however long it wants to, as seen with Diavolo’s infinite death loop. It has no weaknesses simply, but the same could be said about Sagume. Her ability to change situations, or reverse them from what I’ve read by just saying things seems unbeatable also. When she says something, it’ll find some way to come to fruition, by any means necessary. With this in mind, which ability comes out on top?
I said before that GER thinks on its own, and so any damage that may or may not come upon Giorno will be counteracted and reverted to the previous situation, despite the circumstances. Does this also apply to Sagume? If she were to say something like “revert the stand back to its original form” would it happen, or would GER counteract it? It wouldn't necessarily be a direct attack on Giorno, so would it be countered at all? Because of the nature of these two abilities, and the fact that these two are insanely overpowered to the point where it just seems lazy, we have a hard time scaling them. That’s the nature of these types, or this fight specifically though, they tend to just lead to paradoxes, and that’s the case with most Touhou characters as well because they tend to be beyond op.
There’s also the matter of situational things, like if DIO were to fight her, and kill her within stopped time before she realized it. Would she die before being able to speak, or no? Another question would be if she would be able to reverse a situation if Johnny hit her with Tusk Act 4, which we know causes every cell to rotate and doesn't cease, as well as being able to follow people through dimensions. Could she stop the rotation if she said it would? We also need to take into account that stands can only be attacked by other stands. I get that rule is ignored for the sake of making the fight more interesting and fast-paced, but in an ideal fight, that wouldn't be the case. The circumstances in which these characters fight also matter quite a bit, but for the sake of keeping these characters as faithful to their origins as possible, we should assume their powers are absolute, and so that brings us back to the question...Which power beats which other power? We don’t exactly know, and in that sense, this battle is unsolvable.
I realize this battle is for fun and it’s beautifully animated as well. I’ve seen your other battles and the amount of progress made here compared to the others is beyond stunning. These two abilities just tend to make me think a little bit too much about who would win. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed this fight, despite Giorno’s loss.
P.S. If I got any info wrong, please feel free to correct me and state your own arguments. I look forward to seeing what these two could also bring to the table.
GER reverts anything that is not an acasual attack/reality warp/concept warp/omnipotence/toon force/plot warp/5D attacks, Sagume counters GER via reality warp.
Sagume can't die, so DIO time stopping is useless (also that reality warp can nullify time stop).
with Tusk the same, can be reality warped like GER.

I'm not too sure if this is the case though. I believe what you're saying about reality warp, as some Touhou characters can practically just do that casually now, but GER's powers are also rather vague. I suppose that just comes with being an op stand introduced once at the end of a part, but the description simply just states that GER reverts anything to zero. This is rather vague and can come off as lazy from what I said previously, but the same could be said about Sagume's powers.
I guess that's something I failed to mention too, that these power sets aren't descriptive at all. That just means it might be up to the fans to interpret how GER works. In that sense, GER may be able to stop reality-warping or all of the other things you mentioned, or he may not be able to. We just don't know, and we might never, we can only speculate and come up with theories I guess. Thanks for commenting though, anything knowledgeable that people have on Touhou, I'd appreciate it if you shared. I'm not too familiar with it, but I've got a basic idea and the help of wikis.

@@nefibarreto9315 Ahhhh, that makes sense, I suppose that just makes it the most powerful ability in JoJo. When it's blatantly stated like that, it makes sense I suppose. It still gets rather confusing when considering that the "revert to zero" space is dubbed as its own reality within JoJo. I suppose multiversal comparisons weren't ever meant to be talked about in JoJo, which is kinda ironic considering Pucci's Made in Heaven ability.
I suppose a more accurate character to compare Sagume to would be Dio over Heaven or Jotaro with Star Platinum over Heaven. I guess in this case you might also need to take canon into account though. Thanks for sharing, also, do you mind if I ask for the source from Araki saying that about GER, if you can find it that is. I've never heard of him talking about that, and given how grand of a power GER is, it could've been assumed it spans universes. Universal scaling is rather complicated and difficult when pinning two fighters together as well.

you've forgotten the power of the golden experience that the animals he makes reflect the damage to the one who caused it.
They actually reflected the damage back to Sagume, you can see an effect of that in 1:13 with a pulse of air hitting her and at 1:40 instead of the Tree getting blasted with the beams, Sagume was the one injured, three Beams hit the tree and three explosions affects Sagume afterwards. It wasn't fatal to her because she's immortal.
The battle would've ended before it even started if only Sagume stop being shy with her mouth smell

I saw a bunch of people being salty over giorno losing. that's understandable (although the amount of Salt is definitely concerning) because Giorno is a loved characters by many and known to be op. However, people need to understand that to determine the outcome of the battle, you NEED to be able to understand what BOTH characters capable of. You couldn't just go "GeR go BrrRrR aNd WiN" without understanding what Touhou and Sagume is. Igot, being a massive jojo and touhou fans understand the lore and mechanics on both characters and came to the conclusion of this video. There's already an essay on why Sagume would win in this comment section. Also, this is a fanmade vs-battle. While the information of both characters are fairly accurate. You shouldn't take it as an insult to giorno and jojo as a whole. All the creator wanted to do is having some fun by making a battle for both Giorno and Sagume.
