We are back down the plot, and finally, we get to install the new wildlife camera down on the plot! I do take you through some of the features of the Ceyomur CY50 Trail Camera, along with some of the setting up features.
We see some signs of spring and also put together the corrugated raised bed as well.

Glad you managed to get so much sorted this week, tyre, camera and that pesky plastic film! I think that cladding is going to make a great raised bed, can’t wait to see it 🌱

Oh yikes a busy week but good job getting everything sorted 💪. Hellebores are looking amazing I checked our garden centre and they cost an arm and a leg so I may wait and buy “rescues” later on. Can’t wait for all the colours to pop. Have an amazing week Jake, happy gardening 👩🌾, Ali 🌦️🇨🇦

I'm glad you mentioned this can be used for security as I've been looking for an alternative to WiFi cameras and had not considered this!! Adding to cart lol.
It'd make a great security camera given its camouflage and allows you to record audio as well. I think it's a great all-rounder, but we haven't got any footage yet! But I'll let you all know when I do. Glad the video was of help 😊🌱💚
We use this type of camera 🎥 to catch people who dump their trash in vacant properties at my job 😂 I’m amazed how many people do that

Yes, they're perrenial and they can grow quite large. They don't like being divided too much, but I might have to think about it soon!

Great video Jake. I’ve been to my plot today and I’ve got two corrugated beds I bought last year from Wilko but not filled them yet. What a brilliant idea to put wood chips in the bottom to partially fill them. I did think this is going to cost me a fortune in compost!! Not anymore. Thanks for the tip. Deb
Good old Wilko, such a shame about it. I was sorting my seeds today and I found a few from there!
Yes, woodchip, cuttings, trimming what ever you can lay your hands on!

I purchased some metal raised beds for the home garden and unbeknown to me i had cut myself on it whilst putting it together 😅 lesson learned and i now have to put the second one together with awareness of likely injury

Can’t wait to see the wildlife you capture on your camera. Great demo, I’ve been thinking of buying one myself so might go for this if you get good results. Your hellebore is beautiful, I bought a white one in a garden centre bargain bin last year but it doesn’t seem to have reappeared this year 😢 I will have to go and buy more, the bees do love them but they will have to make do with my winter flowering heather for now.
