You're making really great content Jeff! I don't even run RadioDJ, and I still watch all of your videos 😎 I went to school for radio & TV. Was on air for about a year 20ish years ago. Lately I've been kicking around the idea of firing up an internet station, probably will eventually but between the full time software engineer gig AND pursuing voiceover full time, there's not much free time left for such pursuits. So for now, my radio interactions remain that of a listener, and commercial & imaging voice.
Wow, thank you, Will! I'm super grateful for that incredible testimonial. May need to print it on a tee shirt! :) You should definitely launch a station. It took me 10+ years after my last FM broadcast to fire up XXX80s.com. BUT, it's been an awesome creative outlet. Sounds like you have a lot of the gear. Continued success with your VO career. Would love to hear a demo!
Absolutely amazing video ..reviving memories of classic Kiss and Z100 whisper liner, sweepers - thanks so much for radio production insight brother, stay blessed.
I created a whole 1 hour show using an AI presenter and asked a number of my clients (radio stations taking syndicated shows) to review this and a few others. They liked some and disliked others for varying reasons. But NONE noticed that the presenter in each case was an AI generation. One day whole radio station output could be AI and they could take money for ads. Just imagine :-)
The tech is getting better everyday. While the possibilities are exciting, I not a fan of them jeopardizing HUMAN radio talent. There are a couple FMs that are covering shifts with AI jocks. Yikes. No thanks. While the big corporate players sucked 80% of the life out of US radio, AI could suck the rest. And that...SUCKS. But, I am a fan of using the tech sparingly. It's great in small doses. I appreciate you stopping by the channel!
This is an awesome video. I grew up on Z100, from day three until Shannon returned on WPLJ. The JAMS/PAMS sweepers were the greatest ever created. Ps: Martin Briely “Salt in my Tears” isn’t available for request.
Thanks! I'm such a jingles nerd. :) So much so, back in the day, I used to rock out to jingle demo CDs in my red Nissan 200SX...with wind blowing through my mullet.
Who cares what I think...you bought it! :) Overall, I dig that company's products. I have about 5-6 of their ProPaks. Have fun creating your own imaging elements!
On point we use Eleven labs and Mic Monster, and both works well for us when we create voice overs for our station.

@@RadioDJDude Did we just become best friends? I think I might have a cassette of jingles from where I’ve worked over the years.

Hey Jeff. What’s your thoughts of Propak 9000? I have just purchased it and now I am downloading the files.
