I truly love how a simple *_virus_* of “Ben Drowned” can talk _lore_ & _cryptic backstory_ as if it were a real-life fact, rather than stringing together some highly unconventional fictional clichès from the ground-up.
For ones that don't wanna get hacked once they play the virus: step one: turn on your anti virus Step two: try to use task manager if it doesn't work turn on your safety in the computer app data Step three: after changing the virus settings use task manager once again Step four: try to delete the game That's how you destroy the virus
What happens if you play the entire game virus: your computer would be controled and losing its data and the task manager wont work anymore so that you lose all your computers apps and controlls to be hacked

The thing Ben Drowned has over other creepypastas, is that it actually had somewhat convincing footage as part of it. Who I assume is the one behind that creepypasta, hacked Majora's Mask to make a forgery of legit footage, which sure helped it. I recall the guy behind it made a note to not trust anything on his TH-cam Channel by a specific date. I would link the video talking about it I saw, but it appears that the TH-cam channel that hosted it removed all Creepypasta content (even though it was the main fuel for the channel) from it, and in it's place, tons of shooter game videos, along with changing it's name (I think). I unsubscribed to that TH-cam channel afterwards, as it no longer had any trace of what made it big in the first place.
