hello everyone~ it's been a long while since i made a content here. been busy with my senior school year and my computer (for making these videos) broke down lol.
i badly wanted to make a rearrangment of ptt. i loved the comeback as a whole. it's indeed a new milestone and peak for loona. but i highkey felt that the title track, ptt, is overproduced :/ idk how to put it into words but some fans have the same feedback, the song can be rearranged in many ways and here's my attempt! the [&] intro helped a lot in the process. this isn't a major rearrangement tho i only tweaked the intro, bridge and final chorus :] as well as adding an outro.
disclaimer that rearrangements aren't meant to replace the original! the original alone is good but i really wanted to satisfy myself with the arrangement i've had in my mind for a long time!

CHANGES:
• Intro [0:00 - 0:07] - Notably, I moved ViWon's bridge here. In the Korean track of PTT, I think Gowon's voice stands out more. With this, I wanted to give the impression that Gowon alone sang that part. (You'll see later what I did with Vivi's!). The intro was cut short and I removed the vocalization (the tenga-te-tenga-te thingy) and Lip's "Get ready!" which I moved to a later part.
• [2:09 - 2:13] - I moved the second post-chorus to the last, so the bridge abruptly begins after Heejin's part. In common arrangement of some K-pop songs, the first and final chorus usually has a post-chorus while the second doesn't. TWICE's "I Can't Stop Me" is an example of the arrangement I was talking about.
• Bridge [2:25 - 2:42] - This is the part I tweaked the most. First, I vocally inverted Chuu's highnote (that was supported by Heejin) to get rid of those "Ah- Ah- Ah-" noises to make it sound cleaner! I replaced the instrumental as well with the [&] intro. I removed ViWon's bridge which was already placed in both the intro and outro. (I'll explain the outro later). The empty length on ViWon's bridge could be a mini dance break for Lippie since I also moved the "GET READY!" here before the bridge ends.
• Dance Break [2:42 - 2:58] - With a performance in mind, I thought this would be a great dance break. I simply replaced the instrumental with a quieter segment from the [&] intro. I also muffled Hyejoo's voice because I think it really sounds better that way, but she's still the center for this dance break!
• Post-chorus [2:59 - 3:15] - As I previously said, the post-chorus was moved here!
• Outro [3:15 - 3:30] - I inserted an outro with the instrumental from the bridge. This is where ViWon's bridge is duplicated at. I used the Japanese track of PTT for the vocals. As I've said, I personally think Gowon's voice stands out more in the Kor. ver while Vivi's in the Japanese! ALSO PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THIS I TRIED GIVING THEM MORE SCREENTIME!
