Sometimes I feel our mainstream Bollywood is not the place for A.R. Rahman. The quality, variation and richness he brings in each song is above excellence. Still can't imagine that he din't get any award for this album. Clearly recognition of his talent is not always done. This song along with matargashti definitely needs supreme accolade.

Way ahead of its time music given by rahman each and every time he composes a certain song. Even his 90s music is soo underrated that they always leave me speechless! Thumbs up to all the rahmaniacs 💕👍.
This scored one of the most inventive, daring and brilliantly edited beginnings to any Bollywood movie I have ever seen.
The song and the visuals inter mixing folk tales and fables from all over the world inside a child’s vivid imagination set stage for a film that would not follow standard bollywood tropes.
Tamasha, according to me is the result of a filmmaker, editor and musician working at the peaks of their creativeness and in total sync with each other.
Shame the movie was grossly misunderstood and remains severely underrated.
Couldn't have described it better! I believe the first 15 minutes of the movie is so powerful and I'm yet to see a Bollywood movie that sets up the storrline and its main character so solidly as Imtiaz did in this one.
This song remind me my childhood fables i used to heard so soulful song i relate ranbir character in every aspect of it so fuking beautiful.

In theatre the tears were in my eyes when this song was playing and They showed maa "Sita" and after that frame they showed deepika in same pose. It was magical-pure-sacred comparison. Rarely it happens when you have tears in your eyes in initial numbers.

This song deserved so much more attention than 'Heer toh badi sad hai' or 'Agar tum saath ho'. It is real Rahman magic. The glide from Sukhwinder Singh to Haricharan, then the slow buildup to the climax, only Rahman can do.
