Upwork seriously needs to work on keeping scammers off the platform! I exhausted majority of my connects bidding to scammers and ended up getting just one client with all my available connects. As I write this, I cannot even bid any further for opportunities as I have zero connects.

I've wasted my time and connects on jobs by sending detailed and customized proposals and all I get is one client and that too a low paying one. Wondering if Upwork is any good for new sellers at all

@@Upwork That one client I had on Upwork came back messaging me last night that my rates are too high even when we had originally agreed on Upwork that the client would pay 10 dollars per blog article in the project. Now I really do not wish to work any lower than 10 dollars per article especially knowing the fact that I only get paid 8 dollars after the Upwork cut, what do I do next? I really don't wish to get a negative review from my first client.
unfortunately, I have scammed for two times in Upwork. First, as a freelancer, it made me lost 25000TRY and then 300USD. I am very sorry about it. Deeply thankful for the wealth of information you've shared, it's invaluable for improving my freelance business!
