"To Serve Russia" ("Служить России") is a modern military patriotic song of the Russian Federation. Viewed as the modern anthem of the post-USSR army of Russia, it is commonly played during military parades and memorial marches.

I already know how to read Greek and the Latin alphabet (obviously) so I can read it pretty easily
@@nikolasmaillis6862 It's quite easy for someone that doesn't know one or the other to learn the Cyrillic alphabet to. You just need to look at an image of all of the Cyrillic letters until you memories them all. that's what I did, although I cant read it fast and some letters are a bit weird but it still works pretty well.
I can read cyrillic, I practice it by hearing songs reading the lyrics lol

I have been listening to alot of patriotic American songs, I think what make russian song stand out is the deep vocal, kinetic beats, upbeat instruments, and rhythm, it is like marching beats, so energetic and moving

This song was written in 2000 by a composer named Eduard Khanok (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eduard_Khanok ) and a poet named Ilya Reznik (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ilya_Reznik ). Previously, these authors worked primarily in the genre of Soviet non-military pop songs. "To Serve Russia" is one of the few military marches that appeared after the collapse of the USSR. Perhaps this is the only post-Soviet march that has become popular. Now it is the official anthem of the youth paramilitary organization "Young Army", is used as a drill song, and is also often performed at army parades.

You don't have to throw the Russian people into a ditch. The Ukrainians are doing that for you. The ones not going into the ditch have already been thrown into the Black Sea by their generals.
Throwing russians into the ditch is literally what like EVERYONE is doing now. Thank you for NOT doing it. It means a lot to me as a russian who is daily being confronted with hate (i don't live in russia but in germany) even though i would NEVER support the war with ukraine. So thank you for these words, you have no idea how much that means to me and i think many other russians too.

And i can tell because i AM russian and my best friend is ukrainian who just moved to where i live AFTER the war started from Kiev. She dosen't hate me and so the other ukrainian kids and teens at my school who i see every day. At some point, of course there are soo many ukrainians who may hate russian people, especially those who lost someone beloved to that war. But saying that the ukrainians - which suggests ALL ukrainians - are throwing russians in the ditch is not exactly correct. The people who are throwing us russians in the ditch the most have nothing to do with ukraine or russia or aren't even slavic. So no, the relations between russian and ukrainian people now are a little bit more complicated than most people think, because it's not only hate.

As I have it with my World War 2 views - I am not supporting the government or regimes, but people and soldiers of those countries do not deserve to be shunned just because the government/head of state is an idiot that threw the whole world into the war. Germans and Russians got unlucky they got the worst possible regimes in human history (and threw the rich history of both countries into the shadow) and now they have to suffer because of the few in charge. I wish you all well for the future and hope everything will resolve in the best way possible with the least consequences to common folk as possible. Which is a feeble hope considering politics, but it is better than sending everyone from Russia to hell because of it.
