I’ve owned my 79 since 1996 with 57k miles. It’s straight stock, had a top end rebuild at 108k now have 115k. I own several non air cooled 911$ .this is my favorite, probably because it was my 1st. I would not hesitate to get in it and drive from the Northeast to Florida or the Midwest. Great, fun car with lots of Cojonies for the person willing to “drive” it.
@@thedriverscorner understood because I also own an 04 GT3 and an 08 C4S. All three including the 79SC have different driver demands and handling characteristics, especially on the Track.
Fair play to sell the project and end up with a driver quality car, but please give us a video on that whole decision-making process and how the sale went. As you've shown, you kept parts, so how did that go down (your choice not to offer everything etc etc). Cheers
