While this table was creatively designed and executed, had there been a little more attention paid to the final surface, it would have been even better. One can clearly see ripples and imperfections on the surface at 17:03 of this video. A few passes through a wood sander would have done the trick. In fact, we see no sanding discs, pads or machines in this video. Too bad.

@@337outlaw3 i think you are a little nervous. I thought the same about no sanding or any kind, but this does not mean it’s a bad work. The video shows a lot of good things, but i do agree that it demands more finishing. It’s a waste of good fine working to finish it that way.
Yeah, totally agree. The lack of "finishing" work at the end and even before glue was kind of troubling. Really cool idea and solid execution of some of the key elements, but their were lots of situations where glue was applied to chopping surfaces and has zero chance of actually bonding... hence the wood screws. I'm also hoping this project will live in a consistent environment because wood expansion was never considered. With all of that said, it's a cool project and I like the final design of the table top.
Very beautifully done with a fabulous look. With the checkerboard top if he had used better white wood for frame and legs it would have been even more striking.
Very beautiful work, you look to be a young fellow in his 20's, you are very skilled at what you do, did you father or some one teach you this work, or did your aspiration for wood working just inspire you to learn on your own?., beautiful wood too. What is that red wood?
That table top is beautiful! And those table legs... Astounding❣️ I'm sharing (sending) this video to myself. I want to try to make this table. And I think I can actually make those legs. Fantastic pattern. Fantastic results. Fantastic camera work. Keep up the good work!!! Joy. Pgh, PA
Wood glue has open time of 5min or so. He would have to apply glue to all surfaces, line up each and clamp in under 10min. Epoxy has longer working time. The work he did is questionable. End grain glued to flat grain and framed like that will crack over time.

Really nice work, such a shame he didn't use decent timber for the frame and legs, looks like a job half done
no safety, very quick and rough finish.... the idea is ok... but no in any way, refine, sorry, work "unique idea" be more humble!.

Good work, but which type wood is this?
Mesinha perfeita, parabéns pelo trabalho.
Muito legal e talentoso
Nice......👍
Why epoxy (5:30)? Why not regular wood glue?
Stronger?
