In what situation would GK Diving be used? It’s not really explained clearly in the rulebook when it happens. The best I could guess is that it is used when the shooter places his shot, the gk moves, and if they reach it, it initiates the shooting dice roll.
You mean Saving? The keeper can dive 3 hexes parallel to the goal line. If the shot goes through those 3 hexes then you run through the Shooting vs Saving scenario shown at the start of this video. See 2:36 in this video for a description. If the shot is out of reach of the goalkeeper, then a save is not possible :)
