This is really amazing. The guitar work is superb, the bass is just as good, the drums are tight and positive and the keyboards are timed to perfection. Even the vocals are good. To be able to play one of these instruments this well would be a significant accomplishment, to play all of them so well is truly astonishing. This is incredibly fantastic and very close to the original live at Pompeii.. With one immense difference, All done by an eclectic multi-instrumentalist... Hats off... 🤟🤟👍👍🙏🙏
Wow! This is beyond shockingly good for several reasons: 1) just the fact that only YOU played all the instruments is more than enough to impress. 2) how you were able to sync (audio visually) all the instruments in the final mix is beyond me because this is not the kind of music you can simply sync to a click track. Even Pink Floyd didn’t sync it. They just played it together. 3) your age (so young). 4) the upside down lefty bass. 5) and…you’re rendition contains your own interpretation while staying true to the overall theme, tone and format. You are brilliant!
Incredibly well played all the instruments, guitar, bass, keyboard, drums, effects and voice. After this, I think whatever touches will be easy for you. Congratulations and greetings from Perú.
So I clicked on the video out of interest. I wondered how someone could dare cover (in my humble opinion ) the greatest song of the 20th century. Started and thought. Wow they're doing it justice. Then realised it's one person. Hats off.

Quattro volte CHAPEAU!
I've been a pink Floyd fan for nearly 50 years listened to this track hundreds of times as well covers of this and other Floyd song's there is some good stuff out there but this something else
A couple of things I've noticed watching this again that I missed the bass is a lefthander played right handed so strung upside down as if learning the part isn't hard enough also the original video/DVD is slightly off pitch you can hear it quite clearly in places don't know if its because it's been transferred from film to a digital format but it explains why it's difficult to play along to the soundtrack thought it was my bad playing which could still be a contributing factor
Cool!

Cool ass cover! Can't imagine how long it take to learn all the parts of a 23 minute song, record it, mix it, and do it with such amazing quality.
Every instrument is on point. This deserves billions of views!
If Richard Wright could listen you he would be very proud :')
Thank you for this great comment Daniel! Very encouraging :-)
Maybe the best cover of Echoes. And all that by a one man band. Kudos.
This is incredibly fantastic and very close to the original live at Pompeii.. With one immense difference, All done by an eclectic multi-instrumentalist... Hats off... 🤟🤟👍👍🙏🙏
From Russia with love! The best Echoes cover I've ever seen! :)
Thank you very much Pavel :-)
I didn't immediately realize it's the same guy playing all instruments. Outstanding playing and production.
This is breath-taking, kid. A masterpiece in covers. You are the best.
Thank you very much!
Only a master can play this masterpiece so well. Great talent.
You out Roger, Roger! Your timing on the drums is spot on, you have David Gilmour nailed and you also do a great Richard! Fantastic job Ewan!
I think it is time for you to make the comfortably numb cover 😉
Agree
mrpetecos yes
Totally agree! Also all parts of another brick in the wall
Damn how is it possible 😍
pink Floyd will be proud of you ..
You are a true artist...
I want to be your student sir 😎🤘
Atom heart mother lel
This lad has learnt the entire song with all 4 instruments used so you dont have to. Absolute legend
Wow!
This is beyond shockingly good for several reasons:
1) just the fact that only YOU played all the instruments is more than enough to impress.
Sublime, breathtaking, astonishing, out of this world, beautiful...

So I clicked on the video out of interest. I wondered how someone could dare cover (in my humble opinion ) the greatest song of the 20th century. Started and thought. Wow they're doing it justice. Then realised it's one person. Hats off.
If you have yourself cloned, you could do a live gig! first class cover well done mate.
I have grand ideas of possible gigs I'd like to do :-) Thanks for watching Joseph!
ewanjohncovers That would be cool and worth seeing, myself and obviously from the comments others would no doubt like to hear your own matarial, I've watched your other Floyd covers there all perfect, ever considered a king crimson cover?
+Joseph King I'm currently writing and recording my first original demo's. I'm excited to share them with everyone throughout this year! I've not listened to KC too much. I'd like to cover 21st Century Schizoid Man. My Dad is a big fan of King Crimson :-)
ewanjohncovers s awesome
ewanjohncovers sounds like your dad knows good music, look forward to hearing your matarial... keep us posted

@@seatonsmithy436 yes.
In times of overused clickbaiting, this video is a real treasure. Its title promises something truly delightful and yet it delivers something incredible. HE DID IT ALL ALONE MAN
Amazing cover! The best echoes cover I've ever seen!!
Thank you very much Jaume :-)
This is the best cover of anything I've have ever seen on TH-cam.
Echoes at Pompeii has to be one of my favorite pieces of music Pink Floyd ever performed, and you NAILED it!
Quattro volte CHAPEAU! 🎩🎩🎩🎩👏👏👏🎸🎹🥁🎙️🎚️
That transition to bass funk gets me every time; I’ve been a Floyd fan since my mid teens.
Es increiblemente bueno chicos, congratulations from Spain very good job.
That almost brought me to the mid-20s existential crisis :P
Great work!!!
This is some next level stuff dude, I haven't even watched yet but I bet it's great.
Thank you so much man! Especially for sharing it on reddit :-) keep on rockin'
Man you got my respect god bless you!
That was perfect❤️
Thank you very much Jawad :-) glad you liked it
ewanjohncovers it is my pleasure ewan❤️
Cool!
Fucking amazing work dude. I would absolutely LOVE IT if you would cover Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety maybe? That would be incredible.
Would be a big challenge! I'd love to give it a go though. Thanks for your support dude :-)
Most anticipated video of the year right there for me if you do it. Good luck!
@@ewancunningham Yeah, if you please. We will be waiting!
This is the greatest thing I have watched in 32 years of my existence on this planet.
Look up the original... pompeii pink floyd.. echoes.... this is the copy of the masterpiece.. very awesome but not the original..
Holy crap. I normally hate covers but you up guys nailed it
Thanks a lot dude! But what do you mean "you guys"? ;-)
Sorry, was confused by the video and the fact that I was enjoying beer! Well done.
I'm 39. I am a PF Fan. And I am totally speechless. What a talented guy you are Ewan. Brilliant; just beyond brilliant...
It took me till 1:39 till i realised , "hey: this is all one dude!"
Haha ....,😅
Nice job!
I'd love to see a "Making of"!
He is playing a leftie bass right handed without restringing. What a mad man ! You rock !
Well done !!! Nick Mason approves !
Haha thanks dude :-)
Excellent reproduction right down to the butterfly on Mason's t-shirt.
Thanks a lot dude! Glad you noticed :-)
I you could see me, I am giving you a standing ovation right now. As a singer, guitarist, composer and teacher of all three, I commend you on your amazing talent and dedication to my favourite piece from my favourite band of all time.....BRAVO! 👏👏👏👏👏👏
great job dude, you should be very proud of your talent! Greetings from a great argentinian fan of pink floyd
This is just one such kind of dreams when u see urself playing the guitar and the drums solo and all the hard hiting notes all while u r listining and enjoing the music. Great to see that u actually did this.
me: How long will I live, doctor?
doctor: You have only 25 minutes
me: said enough
Dude.....BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!! About 15 years ago I saw "Live at Pompeii." Their performance on that recording influenced me more than anything. Overnight my musical taste matured. "Echoes"is always the song i go to when i want to hear greatness. And, you did it justice. Good job! My only semi-negative comment is let the drums ring more. A little too muffled. Awesome!
Thank you for the great comment dude! Glad to hear from someone else that was also inspired by the Live At Pompeii film :-)
ewanjohncovers Absolutely. I always heard of Pink Floyd and thought they were a good band, but that performance in Pompeii opened my eyes to the genius that is them. Again, impressed by the performance. Subscribed! All the best, from Memphis. :)
This should be Viral.Know one in today’s music has this much talent!!!!
No existe alguién como Pink Floyd.....👌👍🎶🎸🎙️🎼🎼🎙️
Take note, Justin Beaver!!!!
Anyways, congrats mate, that s awesome, if heard this song thousands of times i ll repeat listening your version!!!
Haha, thanks a lot dude! Glad you liked my cover :-)
Could be the single best individual rock effort ever, truly incredible to do this all on your own...
Cool. Pink Floyd best band ever!
Thanks a lot dude :-)
