When we invited live looping phenomenon Sam Perry along for a Pile TV Live Session, we assumed the vocal maestro would lay down something pretty special… but what we got absolutely blew us away. Come on a journey as Sam Perry builds a breathtaking song from scratch using only his voice, vocal effects and a whole stack of live looping action.
Replicating the many instruments that make up modern pop and electronic music, Perry manages to manipulate his voice using a wide range of processing tricks and vocal effects to sound like all manner of synths, drums, bass lines and of course lyrics in this live looping masterclass.

He's already, pretty much, made it. He's been active in this business since 2013, signed to Universal Music Australia. He's only using as many platforms as possible, to reach a world's audience. I love TED's talks, which he was on in Perth, awesome performance, just in case you are interested. Now, he's on the "Voice", he's only adding to that portfolio. I'm not sure, he actually needs it. Depends on how envision "flat". If your referring to him singing flat notes, then yes, he does. I have often wondered, if he uses voice auto tune, only because on his board, I see he does have a synth, and you can tell, he uses his voice to make all the sounds, flats, sharps, minor's and major's. Even if he does use auto tune, the guy is brilliant!

sickest and best song from sam by far! love it. the complete build up is just incredible. listening this with headphones on higher volumes, closing your eyes...teleported to another world. it is so relaxing and at the same time its fresh and not boring at all. so many diffrent kind of styles in one track. it is just art.

I first encountered this extraordinary Performer on the Voice for the first time doing " When Doves Cry", its was such a stunning audition and unique in his delivery of his talents. I have heard different Loopers and found them to be extremely talented but Sam had something extra in his talents...he had alot of magical qualities. His voice and musical abilities are outstanding and shine through his looping reels...giving his songs that extra umph...turning each song into masterpieces. This is the work of a SuperStar Performer . Sam Perry will go far .

Only thing cheap here is your comment, I wont argue with you be cause its pointless but if we talk about his voice check his audition (singing part). I heard many versions of that song in my life and that is by far the best one. Range that Sam have is amazing. He is using loop pedal be cause its way better then few instruments giving you same o sound at the back. You should also learn to respect other people and till you do fk off to some other channel.
