- Sleep in a Vintage Trailer! It's famous around the world, and for very good reason! I've never seen so many weird accommodations in one spot! Located down in Bisbee Arizona just steps away from a history almost "ghost town" - this place will definitely get you in the vintage 1950s mood! It's another bucket list Randomland Adventure!

I can't believe Dot's Diner is closed. I ate there all the time in 97/98. Dot was a nice black lady that was a great cook and became a warm friend. I think I still have my Dot's Diner coffee cup. I lived in my Airstream 28' motorhome. We all knew each other back then; cooked together, and would cruise up in groups for Bisbee Coffee in town up in town past the Copper Queen. Wow. Years fly by. Sadly. Miss you Dot.
This place is so doggone adorable!! "Hotel and shleep well in the world famous Shady Dell!" They should make that their new slogan!! So well done!!!

What a weird & whacky wonderland of a place to stay, and with a cemetery out the back thrown in as an added bonus. Woot Woot!!! Loved it all.

In Strasburg. Pa. there's the Red Caboose hotel where you can sleep in a caboose! Next door is the toy train museum and down the street is the Strasburg Railroad and the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum! Lots of fun pics!

From what I read basically all you can do in the trailers is just hang out and sleep in them. I wanted to know more of those tiny trailers that we're on the lot. Anyway cool to know about this place.

Great video, the wife and I stayed in that very same trailer about 12 years ago. Glad to see they're expanding. Beware of the Copper Queen Hotel in Bisbee as it is haunted.

Some of the coolest/nicest people own this place. Such a shame that the diner closed a few years ago.

I really enjoyed seeing the trailer park, it reminded me of of the one I lived in one when I was growing up, back in 1962, in Las Vegas, NV on North Las Vegas Blvd by Nellis Air Force Base, which was Hwy 91 back then before Interstate 15 was built. It looks very close what trailer parks look like in the late fifties and early sixties.
Gee did you wait for the tubes on the television to warm up, I remember it took awhile for the television to come on over fifty years ago. It took about a minute first the sound would come on then the picture would start coming on which took awhile more. Instant on television as we have today wasn't around until the late 1960s, it used solid state system of electronics, instead of tubes. Oh yea, I guess these televisions would not work nowadays because they used an analog waves and today we use a digital waves (unless they have an adapter to convert the digital wave to analog), most of the televisions made before 2004 would not work today because they were analog.
With that graveyard, it's like the HAUNTED Royal Mansion

Man, do I LOVE the Shady Dell! Did our buddy Brad give you a good tour of the grounds? Its the best Time Travel stay ever! And, uh, you know those tube TVs have to warm up, right? It totally works (I know, I've stayed IN THAT TRAILER!!)... honest!

Justin, I love the positive attitude you bring to everything you produce. It's refreshing to see so much positive energy. BTW, the bedspread that reminded you of grandma is made of what's called chenille, defined as "a tufted velvety cord." Thought you might want to know.
Thanks again for sharing something so cool that's right in my backyard. I'm in central AZ and got pretty excited about this one! Was going to book a night in the tiki bus to surprise my tiki obsessed 7-year-old. Then I found out the resort isn't kid-friendly. *sad-trombone*

Imagine if they made a trailer park dedicated to movies. MOVIE TRAILER get it??? Like they could have one part 1950’s movies the other 1980’s so on and so forth up until modern times.

We just stayed at the Enchanted Trails RV park right on Route 66 in I think New Mexico.. wich also has old trailers u can rent..but the showers..Stove and Fridge did not work..u have to use the Community showers..How is it in This RV park??

my wife has celiac disease also. we never bring food with us on vacation. nearly all restaurants now are good about having gluten-free food choices.

OK I am staying here! I live in Phoenix and it’s only a few hours away! Big question for you… Do any of these include a shower? Got nervous when all I saw was a toilet!LOL
