We use Prof. Andrade's work on rubrics here at San Francisco State in the college of Liberal and Creative Arts. We use it very quietly, of course, because if you're a PhD in Philosophy writing books and teaching grad students it just isn't cool to admit you have an interest in anything but research. But lots of us are interested, particularly now that universities have deliberately become more diverse. We need strategies to help us reach and retain. It's nice to see, from this video, that Andrade is as witty and honest a speaker as she is a writer.
