I know it's a little thing to point out, but putting the sunbean and brightcore icons over their respective copy in the item bar is very helpful, so thank you for that!
As someone who plays zenith, bright core is definitely completely fine. You do enough damage to wipe out enemies either way. Honestly, I feel like it’s also rare to really need stone heart lead over support to effectively ad clear. I’ll usually just focus on wiping enemies with a bright core vacume tube (stone heart in support), and use a xenon to freeze smashers with affliction. And of course, zenith does technically favor fire rate, so that numb for bright core is a little more valuable.
With brightcore you can shoot the same mist monster to get more lightning strikes. If you one-shot it you won't have the chance. I prefer brightcore because i see the difference of damage negligible. For smashers I use a discharger, and for the other mist monsters i use the bow. I have no aim so hitting bigger targets is more beneficial to me
Since you don't always want to shoot as fast as you can, I believe Sunbeam Vacuum Tube Bow is the better choice here.
Makes no sense
i go brightcore on all my crowd clearing weapons and sunbeam on things that are meant to deal high single target damage
if im going to shoot it a lot i might as well get more use out of it. affliction or things similar to it (like steam cloud on steampunk or chain lightning on vacuum tube weapons for example) where possible makes up for the "loss" in my opinion. if its just for mist monsters/bosses then higher damage is great to have to make sure they die
so vaccuum tube bow brightcore for crowd clearning then what about mist monsters and bosses do I use a bow with mist monster perks or another weapon like the potshot ect? Im newb.
@@thenextbigthing7268 i would say use the bow for takers, and blasters and for smashers use plasmatic discharger and you don't need bows with mist monster perks
I mean as long as I'm hitting crits for Sub-Zero zenith im good
Real
i made all melee and sniper as brightcore
pistol, shotgun, ar, smg as sunbeam
assume both brightcore and sunbeam xeon bow can 1shot a normal husk, then the one shoot faster ll have higher dps
hence brightcore xeon ll kill normal husk 10% faster, but smasher 10% slower.
sunbeam xeon ll kill normal husk 10% slower, but smasher/mist 10% faster .
sunbeam, people dupe the hell out of it, so its not rare at all, but the quartz crystal is rare! it's needed for Crowd Control Traps.
since sniper brightcore have better crowd clearing n save u more mats, this is the path i ll take!
and it also balance the resource consumption for mode like frostnite.
Seems like Rex jonesey’s perk also doubles kills towards mist monsters? For the repeatable quest.
I have 2 copies as well. For my sunbeam copy I run Farrah in the lead and Brightcore copy I run rabbit raider Jonesy in the lead.
.
Hope you and the family are having a great 2024 so far Beast. Apologies I haven’t been as active, my kids grandpa passed shortly after Christmas.
I'm sorry to hear that! I hope things are well otherwise!
@@xMistaBeastxGames much appreciated Beast.
I'll still go with Sunbeam on my bows, but what's been really bugging my mind lately is the thought of Brightcore Blackout AR. I upgraded mine to Sunbeam, but I think I should have gone with Brightcore for the extra durability. The boom scales so hard with abilty damage, the weapon damage is kinda insignificant. That Blackout Boom build is such an overkill in terms of damage, rather take that extra durability, it'll be more beneficial
I kinda look at Brightcore and Sunbeam from availability and personal value. Sunbeam hits harder but lowers the life span of your weapons at the cost of doing more damage, but you're using more resources to recraft things due to the lower durability. Shadow Shards are much harder to accumulate than Obsidian, which you can mass produce from High Exhibitions that include the Obsidian but not Shadow Shards as a reward. Lowering the durability of your weapons for more power, I feel depends on how much you like to farm personally and what you accept for damage output. Shadow Shard is more of the premium route, while Obsidian is far more available. Brightcore and Sunbeam by themselves I feel are balanced out evenly in terms of farming as you can't get those without farming and breaking things down, unlike the obsidian you can get very large quantities from exhibitions. I think what boils down to is how much you can get for your buck and how much you enjoy farming. I do a lot of missions between the 124s and lower, and Obsidian does the job well enough to carry me through. In the 160s you kinda want to bring your best anyway and usually, your Hero Loadout and weapon perks are going to do the large portion of buffing. As for the 160s themselves, that's kinda something you want to bring the best you can get for them and not really something you'd want to run actively unless it's a weekly or 4X reward. Honestly, you're not going to make a Brightcore or Sunbeam for stuff lower than 124 anyway if you want to earn certain rewards from missions. Just my two thoughts. I enjoy farming, and I primarily use Defenders for teammates, so I'm breaking a lot of weapons.
I think what boils down to is what you find acceptable for damage, and how much you like to farm.
Thank you so much!
Funny, I don't have access to 5 star evos yet as im still on twine ssd2 I believe. I watched your older vac bow loadout vid and confused the two, making it obsidian after already investing all my perkup into it. I thought I made a huge mistake, but watching this makes me feel SO much better.
edit: if you do get around to reading this, i have one question, would you recommend using this build even against non-water enemies? like other nature, or even fire? does it still preform, or should i have say, a xenon bow as a backup in case?
id also like to say your vids have helped a lot, as a returning player who has never paid much attention to the more meta side of the game. what i thought was the best is TOTALLY different and vastly outpreformed by some of the stuff you show here. with the founder weapon buffs, i might even build my nocturno finally after i finish up getting all the pieces to this loadout. so cheers :)
This build is fine vs nature! Honestly even works for fire... like seriously
I think brightcore needs a bit of a buff to make it useful end game on more weapons
yeah it could use a 3% or 5% buff
I've killed a 503 mini boss with a brightcore husk buster with ease they don't necessarily need that buff,
Sunbeam gives that extra damage as your buff
But obviously some weapons can't do that, not every weapon needs to good 🌚
obviously you killed a 503 mini boss with a weapon thats in OP tier
other brightcores do need some buffs because theyre not OP
also if the dmg buff is a bad idea maybe it should get 10% more ammo in mag or something@@AlienCats969
This seems like a good place get options. If I should supercharger my brow beater, steam Thrasher or my obliterator that brightcore for defenders.
The browbeater also Brightcore for the fire rate and the steam thrashers is sunbeam
tip: if you use sniper defender a lot, build your obliterator brightcore instead of sunbeam, it will last way longer
I have a sunbeam and brightcore version of the xenon and vacuum tube bow. Not sure if I should supercharge the sunbeam or brightcore versions tho?
Preference!
I only have one copy and it's sunbeam. I'm always low on perk-ups so I don't want to farm more just for another copy. Would you recommend me to recycle the sunbeam schematic to create a brightcore one?
No I think Brightcore is barely better but Sunbeam is what my copy is and im gonna keep it
Wait, Star Spangled's war cry also applies to teammates?? Thats crazy
When I was in the jungle map I completely miss my shot and hit a tree and it still chain lightning across the map I confused but realized what I did so tested it and it worked if zombies are near trees you can just shoot the tree and it’ll chain fun fact not really helpful but fun to do. Unless it’s only on jungle map then ggs
I went xenon sunbeam and vt brightcore just so I’m using them in similar amounts
you get more brightcore commonly because of launchers when a purple/gold animal drops a gun if its a launcher its already 100% brightcore
I think the xenon and VT bow's forgotten triplet needs a brightcore vs sunbeam analysis too (aka the cloudburst) the also insanely strong bow that nearly nobody uses
When you can shoot through walls and chain link damage why would you want anything else
look guys, i found someone who has only leveled up 2 schematics and plays the game in the most boring way possible
@@demongameryeet sir as an endgame player I have quite the schematics collection all I'm saying is when you have power why wouldn't you abuse it. That said I'm no dummy I know a xenon bow (or VT bow) ain't stopping a smoke screen miniboss nor the discharger (dispite what some people will think) I have my storm king mythics for that
Don’t know what are you two arguing about but the Cloud Burst is seriously underrated. The Cloud Burst and the Thrasher both deserve a Brightcore VS Sunbeam video
@@jstreo5094 i'm agreeing on the front of the cloudburst, hence why i commented about it, but not the thrasher, that would just be far less DPS for a low damage per bullet weapon
The xenon bow is overall very good, but has its specific uses. It can clear ad but does it nowhere near as good at the vacuum tube bow. It’s most definitely preference but the vacuum tube does way more damage
I know it has nothing to do with the bow, but it does relate to Brightcore. Against smoke screen minibosses, should I use my energy Ravager (normal perks, not Luna) or my Physical Fury (perked for MSK)?
Wait I think both are brightcore nvm about that part
It is Sunbeam. Was that the right choice?
Ravager
@@xMistaBeastxGames Ok thanks
5:16 from my experience sunbeam os way more common idk
@Beast Is there a Bow you would recommend me for Killing Mist Monsters Like Takers, Blasters and Flingers?
Xenon
@@rustnitronite3733 I already have a Supercharged Xenon-Bow and Vacuum Tube Bow.
So if the chain lightning damage is the same for both, then shouldn't the brightcore vt bow actually be like objectively better / have more dps, because of the higher fire rate?
Not sure
@@xMistaBeastxGames well without a creative mode, I guess we never know. but I would say most of the damage comes from the chain lightning, so that’s why I thought brightcore would be better
I have a xenon bow and now I am thinking of a vacuum tube bow.. oh the dilemma. Btw, what's the element on your Baron?
It doesn’t need an element, if you’re using only for movement
@@jenekeu_1238 I know, I am just being silly and worrying over a cosmetic thing
I just upgraded the vacuum tube bow to 130.
Well do it again
hello
where can I find on how far am from the stw cap xp for BR I want to see what the daily limit is etc and how far I am
Check beast video! Type best ways to get XP in chapter 5 season 1.
How do you heal when you kill zombies?
Pls answer
totally rockin out team perk
@@xMistaBeastxGamesThanks!❤
And i just finished few weeks ago to max my Vacuum Tube Sunbeam with superchargers :/// nvm i guess
I assume you finished the video by now? Sunbeam is totally fine
@@xMistaBeastxGames Yes i Did now !
Beo i used this weapon all the time as the only person really maining it. Now every 2. User it
After they changed chaining to work on every hit it was never an unpopular weapon
I might be the only person with a 144 brightcore noc haha 😅
I don't think brite-core is better. I use the Xenon-Bow/Vacuum Tube Bow in different loadouts too, like in my constructor Loadout. So I need the extra 20% Damage.
Man it definitely doesn't matter cause in ventures I use this bow build with a level 88 bow I think? In power level 140 zones I still have the most damage out of anyone
That's with the range weapon nerf to ninjas in this season
I don't even use traps! I just put walls around to at least concentrate husks in a line and it doesn't care about anything cause it will kill
Nurses with healing death burst?? Yawn
Just need an extra arrow LOL
It only struggled with mist monsters only if there are no other husks around
Cause the chain usually kills them it is ridiculous
No way the xenon bow is better in a million years LOL
Hi beast from my experience I'v seen more brightcore ore then sunbeam and biger vains then sunbeam (I am pl 134 BTW)
I wouldn't know I have like seven accounts of duplicated Sunbeam
I am literally not joking the in-game economy collapsed a long time ago
then it all depends on opinion
Shadowshard or Obsidian for floor flusher
Shadow on 95% of weapons, but on some things like the storm blade build you want it to be bright. Just like melees when farming damage with Luna.
@@HowToNotTrainYourDragon so if i pick shadowshard would the next evolution be sunbeam
@@TheOneAndOnlyFakeElf yes and if you picked obsidian the next evolution would be brightcore
@@HowToNotTrainYourDragon ok thanks
I love you
Brightcore is good because I have 10x more brightcore than sunbeam
if someone says first that shi cringe
I am the one who is first!
I swear he just likes being controversial
Watching the video might provide some insight
Sunbeam is way better on the vacuum tube bow
