This video and the description below moves me deeply. I feel the need to pass with a few words how blessed I am to know and be with The Sacred Lineage that my Black Elk and Crow Dog ancestors have passed to me.
The Medicine moves. This is My Truth. On my Altar here in Montana I have placed a Holy Lavender Altar Flag that I received from the Crow Dog Family. I am honored to hold with me now this specific flag. This video teaches me more of the responsibility, power and peace that now flows to/from/with and within me. I aspire to cherish, respect and honor the gift of which I am now aware that I carry. I come in Peace. I come from Love. Hoka Hey, Coda! All Glory to The Teachers. Ajo Mitakowasin...

Once we discover the workings of our Great Spirit we discover the workings of our shared Universal Mind. We discover our shared psychology or our psychosocial reality. Our Universal Reality or our psychophysical reality is evident in the visions of Nicholas Black Elk who told us about our ONENESS. Once our Universal Mind becomes clear to us we realize our/the Universalness of energy. After we realize our Universalness we realize "what is" and we realize about the teachers and instructors who are kidding us.

❤See BLACK ELK SPEAKS: BEING THE LIFE STORY OF A HOLY MAN OF THE OGLALA SIOUX AS TOLD THROUGH JOHN G. NEIHARDT (Flaming Rainbow) (Lincoln: Univeristy of Nebraska Press, 1988/1932) by John G. Neihardt.]
The pipe is a sacred pipe, and according to Black Elk, it is sacred because of its meaning. Among other things, Black Elk says it means there are many powers and spirits and all the spirits are "one Spirit" (BES, p. 2) and all the powers are "one Power" (BES, p. 5), and the "... sky a father and the earth a mother, and ... all living things with feet or wings or roots their children" (BES, p. 3).
"And because it means all this, and more than any man can understand, the pipe is holy" (BES, p. 3).
According to Black Elk, "all life" is holy and good, and "us two-leggeds sharing in it with the four-leggeds and the wings of the air and all green things; for these are children of one mother and their father is one Spirit" (

I honestly know that Uncle Leonard would not have had this filmed and shared unless as he said in the recording it was to be for educational purposes to share these teachings of the lakota ways of his ancestors and to teach the connection to creator through the chanunpa the sacredness of the pipe … I carry the chanunpa through the lineage of chief Leonard Crowdog, the Chief of Chiefs ..he was a very wise visionary teacher as was uncle Wallace black elk they understood bringing the teachings for so long hidden out of the cloak of secrecy to all races …and remember this was recorded in the year before the wounded knee situation in 1973 and during the time of the end of the Vietnam war … set and setting …I was presented to uncle Leonard briefly a few times a few years ago and before he went home to the ancestors …to witness these teachings from these amazing elders recorded many years ago on video …I am extremely grateful and I also honour the power and sanctity of the Sacred Pipe aho
