My husband was born in Arizona..we visited the Grand Canyon 4 years ago..took the train ride from Williams...hope to go back next fall. His parents live in Phoenix..
I got a question. I live in the permian basin in west texas. We are 3000 feet above sea level...... but we are in a basin. Why is drilling so popular here if the earth beneath us is mostly rock? I can dig 3 or 4 ft and its already rock. Why not not drill at lower elvations. Im not a flat earther but sometimes i wonder...

Why does the GC look like an illusion. When you look at it long enough it seems as though it’s a projection 😅
We have been twice and you're right it doesn't look real. The haze and sun makes it look unlike anything I have ever seen.
