I have the same issues you are talking about. That’s what brought me to your video. I’m almost positive it’s something to do with the sensors. Didn’t know I could turn them off. Thanks for the tip. Going to try it now.
Yep. I’m having the same pain. I think as the watch gets older this happens. I had the issue with a previous Apple Watch that cracked in the back.. that really burned. When I replaced it with a new one it stopped. Now this one is about 2 years old and it’s starting to burn and cause wrist pain
@ I’m actually tempted to try and trade mine in for a new one to see if it stops again. I will keep you posted on when I get the new one and my findings.
Ohh. Please ignore the kid animations on the channel attached to this profile. It’s my younger son’s TH-cam account that I responding from. I’m usually on monitoring his channel to protect him. I do answer all the posts that I initiate.
I’ve been wearing a Apple Watch since three months, I loved all the features but recently I felt very bad pain on my left wrist (as if somebody was drilling through my hand) so I took it off for a week and haven’t felt any pain since. I’m going to test turning off the se cord and see if this helps.
@Marciellojm I’ve gotten so many comments on this and the other video now, that I am more convinced than ever. Turning off most sensors helped me. I am so reliant on this watch as a tool. Otherwise I would walk away from it and wear a normal watch. Good luck and thanks for sharing.
Yeah thats about how long I have been wearing without sensors. I never had issues with earlier versions of the watch and still no discomfort with the sensors turned off. Hope your wrist feels better soon.
I don't have wrist pain specifically but have arm weakness and pain up into my neck on the side where I wear my Apple Watch, I am taking a break from wearing it right now as a test and so far it is helping. I am not sure if the watch pinches something or if it could be the sensors - so I will try wearing the watch without sensors next. Very interesting, thanks for the information -
I think this is happening for me too. Left wrist deep in there feels like something lightly hit it, ongoingly. It goes away when I stop wearing the watch for hours / days. I have 6 inch wrists.
I’m watching your video and in pain right now. I have never had wrist pain. It’s like a deep bone pain. I can’t make a fist and there isn’t a great position to stop the tremendous discomfort. It is crazy painful. This is what I think happened. I wore the Apple Watch tighter than usual yesterday and I woke up feeling like I had slept with my hand bent back all night. It became increasingly painful with any kind of use. I haven’t had the watch on today at all. Just keeping it immobilized with heat. It’s like a bad tooth ache. Ache won’t stop. It isn’t nerve pain for me… it’s bone pain. The pain hasn’t changed in intensity no matter what. There is no rhyme or reason for this other than the watch. I also wear it on my left wrist. If this doesn’t subside tomorrow, I may go for an xray. It’s weird. Thanks for your video. I know I’m not alone❤
@@Blue_Moon3 Sounds rough. I hope its nothing too serious. Some people have commented that its impossible for the watch to do this but like you I am baffled as to what would cause a non injured wrist to hurt so bad. I have a follow up video that was just released on the channel talking about the results of turning off the sensors. Best of luck.
Just a note, maybe it's not related - 2:40 - for my taste it's tight. Not tight all the way but still is. It doesn't look like you can easily slide your watch above pisiform bone and if you try - does it feel comfortable? You should be able to spin your watch around wrist without much of a hassle - can you? Give it a try - loosen up that strap a little. Maybe, since you're aware of that pain you adjust your watch more often, tinker with it and that helps. I wore my watch too tightly and I loosen it up years ago just because I read some random article about wearing your watch properly. It didn't matter to me, but now I must admit it feels better that way.
Yes, I do get wrist pain from my AW as well. I only wear it when I go outside and when I sleep. I take it off and let my wrist rest for a while before putting it back on. I think it’s something with the heart rate sensor that causes wrist pain in some people. My sister has an AW but she doesn’t have any pain whatsoever.
I’ve been using Apple Watch for about four years and I have wrist pain since then and I did everything to treat it and try to know what caused the pain I think I just found the answer of this mystery
@@Amin_the_calm_man Try turning off the sensors and see how you go; Not everyone is sensitive but I am one of those who is….and maybe you as well. Good luck
I have the mi band. Wore it on my left wrist, started to get pain. The only change was wearing the watch. I put the watch on the other wrist to see if the pain would follow and........it did. There's something not right with these watches. They've been licenced because it's big money. There's clearly a health risk there which they're not telling us. You google it and the answers will be, the watch is too tight. I know how to wear a watch, it's not tight. Something sinister going on.
@@shahbazs6705 Thanks for your comment. Some people have shot me down saying “It’s not possible”, but I have gotten way more feedback from people like you, who agree. I love this watch as a tool but I also can’t ignore my personal evidence. I wonder how many people have discomfort but have never considered the watch as a possibility.
@lipmode I learned a long time ago, health organisations, the Fda, big pharma... they don't care one bit about us. Everything is for profit. "A patient cured, is a customer lost". I had major health issues, and one of the people who helped cure me holistically told me that phrase. They don't care if the chemicals in processed foods harm you, or make you think slow, damage your gut, your organs, your hormones.... they don't care if the things you use everyday and consume are full of carcinogens. If it's making them money, that's all that matters. They're not going to care if sensors pressed up against your skin for long periods may damage your nerves or mutate cells, etc.. I was so excited to get this watch, its so useful. But I'm in tune with my body because I'm now careful about what I put in it. Its too much of a coincidence that my watch hand is now in pain literally a day after wearing a smart watch. Then when I put the same watch on the other hand hours later, it's the same pain. I realised straight away it was the watch which is why I first googled it (found nothing) then went on to TH-cam and saw your experience. So thank you for making the video. Let's hope some independent scientists out there that can prove us right and more people become aware, not just of the watch but all of it.
@lipmode sadly youtube just deleted my response to you. Freedom of speech doesn't exist when you speak truth. I'll say this much. A patient cured is a customer lost.
