Hello ma'am, I liked your explanation of Act-1. But can you please tell me how exactly king Duhsanta gave Sakuntala the signet ring. As in the text, it is mentioned that he gave this ring to her friends to free Sakuntala from the debt of taking care of plants.

The prologue sets the tone of the play and also gives a background of the story.
Mam as I am the student of 5th semester, my Graduation is going to be completed soon. Now I am in dilemma about whether I should pursue MA or BEd after completing my BA. Please give me a suggestion Mam.
The answer depends on two questions: 1. How soon you wish to start earning and 2. How much financial support you have right now. if you can spare another 15 years being a student and remaining jobless go for Masters and then struggle with qualifying National Eligibility Test. Trust me, college recruitment is painfully slow and you wont land up with a decent job in near future. Comparitively, school education sector is more promising, especially for English teachers as CBSE and ICSE schools are also there side by side with West Bengal SSC. But then you must complete BEd which often needs lots of financing. If you want a challenging work field you may try Masters in Journalism and Mass Com (I especially recommend JU and Viswabharati). If you have no financial hurdle you may think about CAT and Management degree as well. It all comes down to how much you are ready to invest in your career and how soon you wish to get somewhere. In the mean time keep attempting competitive exams like BCS. But if you are really passionate about literature, stay in the field and wait for the best time. Good Luck.
