I never had thought it would be more painful than losing a close relative He's been missed so much! Tears come down the eyes when he comes to mind but then.. that's life! My family was my dogs and me, now... my dog and me. But in 3 days time a puppy will arrive home, a little lady called Emma :) A blue merle rough collie to be the companion to me and to my tricolor rought collie Enjoy your new company as much as I will enjoy mine :)

it is very good that you used boxes to make it less spacious, that forces her to learn to controll her blatter and bowels as opposed to going to the far side of the kennel to do her business,
She’s gorgeous. We’ve had three cockers. Please don’t keep a collar on her, especially in her crate. One of mine got the disk stuck between the bars and as he panicked it tightened and he almost choked. Thank G*d I was there to save him.
Believe it or not, mine is 4 now, and at times he likes to go into that crate and stay there. Plus yeah, if strangers come in that need the run of the place and none to bother them while they fix things, he's fine being in that crate for a bit. So I'm glad you got 1 for yours right away. It'll be like her own little cave.
