I have no affiliation with these vendors, but prices were great, shipping was fast, and so far I like the quality of everything I bought. The NRC prongs were a little finicky, but it’s an easy fix if you run into the same issue I did.

Great job on the plate. I have the integrated brake/turn signals already. When I put those on next season I’m going to look into that plate and light set up.

I went in the opposite direction with the OEM tail assembly because, seen in profile it makes perfect sense from a design perspective. While the front conveys a raptor countenance, kind of like a wasp(?), the tail in profile looks like a stinger. I covered the end piece which a separate part from the longitudinal piece that attaches to the bike beneath the tail light. I removed the OEM turn signals and installed three (yes, three) Rizoma 3-way lights, so the bike is very visible at a great distance. I don't live in a suburban or rural setting, so visibility is paramount.
I really like the simplicity of the supermoto look. It’s what made me fall in love with the look of this bike originally. I see what you’re saying though, I never thought of it that way!
