Personally for myself, I've found grinding for Grandpa Muto's card packs as a beginner and building a Gravekeeper's Deck helped me out with the campaign so far while also teaching me more experienced fundamentals that I'll eventually take to online. Thank you for the tips on a grinding deck to expand my variety and playstyle.
Same and it is a blast to play. Very flexible and regularly win in one or two turns depending how try-hard I am feeling. Supernaturalist is insane and with a Recruiter/Spiritualist combo, you can summon 2 in no time.
The best grind decks I found for early game are various OTK Exodia decks and a Thunder Dragon Deck. Once I got Seekers Exodia deck, I kept tweaking it until I found a good balance of draw and search, though it's not a OTK deck, it works pretty well for most of the first two series campaines. Then an Exodia OTK Deck (and variations on the core concept) that includes Makyura the Destructor (before they nerfed it in Master Duel). Another one that uses Royal Magical Library, and also variations on the build, trying to figure out a good balance. I also found a combo of the two core themes that have a higher success rate than the Makyura and Magical Library decks have on their own. All versions still have those annoying dead draws though, but less often with the combo. And when the Exodia decks are met with hand and deck destruction, I switch over to a mashed together Thunder Dragon Deck, that is over powered once you figure out the mechanics. I've had the most success with that deck, even with dead draws I am able to make a strong comeback in many cases. And it's not even a very optimized build. The game of Yugioh was broken on the very first episode when they made Exodia a thing.

Yea I made myself a blue eyes chaos max deck and it works really good. I’m just farming a lot of points to get more cards and build more decks. Nice video 👍
13:22 thats a real g man, i think all the persons have to play that way, even if u gonna lost u know, ur playing with a deck that u like, thats why i always construct dark magician decks in all yu gi oh games that a play, obvius i have the metas too, but my mains is the one i like to play
Bought the game on sale a few weeks ago. Haven’t played Yugioh irl since the GOAT format was the actual format. Been using a demise/ ruin ritual deck with the “ new” level 10 versions for a OTK style deck. Pretty fun trying to transition to nekroz and learn the ins/outs of link summoning

What's actually a good deck to beat your way through story mode?? Like the dm story is pretty easy but when you get to vrains with altergeists etc it gets pretty tough
Just bought the game on sale and the story decks are starting to piss me off lol. Thought I check here to find a deck to breeze through the story. Really thinking about building this gem knight light sworn I have always wanted to build in real life. Thanks for the video
Keep at it man trust once you get through the original Yugioh the rest of the game feels like a breeze trust. Lightsworn is do underrated I’m shock I don’t see it much

I play a lightsworn deck and I love it
I prefer playing grave keepers, because it’s fun also, that means my opponent cannot use monster reborn because the graveyard shut down neck Valley
My go to for story mode and challenge mode is Gladiator Beasts.
