AeroFoam T-45 Goshawk 110mm JetFan EDF 12s/Tail Heavy Handful

This model has been a handful for me with motor cutting out, retract issues and tail heavy characteristics! I would appreciate any recommendations if you have this model and have had similar issues.

Looks tail heavy !!! Add some nose weight that will make it feel more sold and not so twitchy .great pilot skills it looks like it’s a pucker factor plane .

That sure looked tail heavy touchy. You couldn't have had your Cortex Demon gyro on when you came into land, if so then I'd be adjusting the gains on it as that was wobbling all over the place, exactly what the gyro is supposed to iron out. Some jets are just really hard to get sorted, good luck with it.

Yes, next time I take her up she will have the gyro on at least for take offs and landings. This Jet needs all the help it can get. You saw how I flew her with it off. 😳🤪🤣😂

Nice looking plane. Curious to know how you replaced the ubec? I see you have the 14 channel powersafe receiver running two 3s 2200 mAh batteries. How is the landing gear and gear doors receiving power?

I upgraded the stock bec’s to 2 separate castle creation 2.0. I have brake gyro Assan ag63 and also upgraded the retract module to a simple ER120 jp. The stock retract module is junk. These 2 devices are connected at 12.6v directly to the 3s smart battery. BEC’s are set to 6v

Sergio she shouldn't be a handful with that motor. I have the same setup hacker 780kv/jetfan 110. She flies awesome

I bought one a few months ago. The right wing's multipin connecter was faulty. It would lose power to the entire wing at random. Luckily I noticed it on the ground. It turned out both mulitpin connectors were bad. The half in the wing root and the half in the fuselage. So far, it's been the worst quality edf I've ever bought. Terrible electronics compared to HSD MFC all in one.

You're flying it way too slow and you need to fix the over current. You were just about at stall speed that entire flight and you need to land her faster than that. You're runway is too short.

Ill tell you what man.....I dont think your gyro is setup right.....no way you should be seeing that much ocillation.....Id try flying with it shut off first.....
