I can’t wait to place another order with them. I’ve ordered a pen case, just waiting for that to arrive, then I’ll place my second order of this cover 😊😊😊

I got one for the hobinichi 5 year but it doesn't fit. Now use a midori notebook which is a good fit but as a result I don't use it as much as intended.

Good day Mick L, I am normally not one to comment. However, I liked the video and wonder about one thing. I myself use a hardcover A6 Rhodia Webnotebook. Would you figure it would fit this cover? I have been looking at their regular A6 covers and already use one for my A5. However, I would like something a little more slim for my A6 Webnotebook. Many thanks in advance!

Hello. I haven’t tried the A6 webnotebook in it, but the only issue I would foresee is that the webnotebook cover is just ever so slightly bigger than A6 from memory. Only by a couple of millimeters, but it might make it a bit of a tight fit.

@@theoffstageme Thank you for your swift reply, Mick! As far as I am aware, the Webnotebook is actually slightly smaller than an A6 and even a bit smaller than the Hobonichi Techo! I measured 14,5x9,5cm just now or 5,7x3,75in. The Hobonichi seems to be 5,8x4,1in. My biggest concern was with the hardcover itself, actually, and whether it would be too snug! And now actually whether the Rhodia might be too small after all, hah!

This is no different to my A5 zipped thing. They don’t make them big enough. They are made ‘exact’ and that’s no good. The shape and creases in your A6 Hobonichi proves this. If this cover were the correct size for the thickness of book in it, the covers would not crease, nor would the spine, nor would it resist closing. The A5 zippered folio is no different. It is too exact a size. It closes but needs force to do so and this will damage the zip or pens inside it. Why can’t they make things with enough room in them? It’s gonna be different for you as they are free, but when I’ve shipped it to me in the UK, paid 20% VAT and clearance fees, then I expect the items to actually fit some gear without stretching zips, or fighting to close them. They just need a few more mm space in their gear and it would be awesome. As it is now, it’s like meh for me. The leather looks and feels great. The customer service is great too, but I don’t ‘use’ that in my day, I want to enjoy the gear and I Cannot.

Thats a completely legitimate issue. Which I have mentioned in a number of the Galen reviews. I think they are good products... and they are a good company and will continue to evolve the products. I have bought many Galen products as well as being sent them. I find them excellent value in comparison to other similar brands, but not with out their faults of course

@@theoffstageme - just to say, I didn’t mean you get them all free either. Thats not supposed to come across like that, however I Can see how it may do, sorry. 👍🏻
