I don't think the breeders can actually can tell if it's a girl or boy at that age. The breeders shouldn't give the option. They are so cute!! Well done 👏

usually there’s a rule that however many inches ur turtle is, that’s how many gallons of water u should have. so if ur turtle is 2 in. it most likely needs a 20 gallon tank.
My tank is a 30 gallons. When they start to grow I will put them into a bigger tank. This summer I will be moving them to a outside pond on my backyard.
Hello, I have just bought a Cumberland slider, it is a complete baby right now. During the day I turn on the heat lamp which keeps the basking area around 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The heat from the lamp also maintains the water temperature around 75 degrees. Though, this is all in the daytime. I only keep the heat lamp in during the day, and turn it off at night to allow a natural cycle. My question is, does the water get to cold for the turtle at night, since the heat lamp is not on?

Try Mississippi mud turtles, Musk Turtles . Diamond back terrapins. Bog turtles. Also try Reeve’s turtles and Michigan spotted turtles.
