Also reminds of me of my dog she wasn't a police dog, but a emotional support dog. But she lived life to the fullest. Where I went she went with me. We were rarely separated. Being from Georgia, we were super excited to see SGT Mark Tappin & Mattis on America's Top Dog, as well as on some of their other TV appearances. Within a few short moments we could see the bond between thetoof them. It is not often that kind dedication to each other is so obvious right away. Learning of Mattis' injuries & the manner in which he sustained them was heart wrenching. It was thru the prayers of many, & the bravery of Mark & Mattis that helped Mattis make his speedy recovery. We have German Shepherds, so we are in the unique position to see how brave, hard working, loyal, protective, & loving they are. With that said straight from our hearts, Mattis is a very, very, very special dog. Now that Mattis is retired, we follow Mark & Mattis on all the social media platforms that we subscribe to. We hope that some day in the near future we can meet Mark & Mattis in person. That would be an awesome experience.
