- VRChat Goes Mobile! 📱
The VRChat team is developing mobile versions of its social VR experience. Starting with an Android release that will be available for members of VRChat Plus within the next 3 to 4 months. The mobile version will work with any world or avatar that works on Quest and will require a mid-range device with 6GB or more of RAM. The team is also working on an iOS version, but which is further out than the Android release.

I have it, they only accept 10 MB of avatar, literally if it is more then 10 it got to a default, it is really annoying.

If VrChat itself is VERY poorly optimized, imagine what the mobile version would be like
It would run better then the quest cus you don't need a 2k resolution pre eye like in VR
Unity 2022 will make it better hopefully

Even on mobile devices, it still has its limitations same as the VR headset if you get a PC it would be better but there’s so expensive to get a PC
Actually vrchat had a pc port before mobile and that’s how I played vrchat so, yeah I love this

Yes. We actively talk about it in the discord and they are making it for + first then releasing it to everyone eelse.
The team has said it's not going to be 6gbs, that's just a guesstimate right now. They are working on bringing that way down.
People you need vrchat+ while it is in alpha once its out of alpha it will be free
This is now out of alpha and in the beta stage, so available for free now. Just remember cheap or very older devices will not run (6GB+ RAM REQUIRED)

It's already available without subscription. But it's still in open beta. So it will feel clunky

I have 6gm ram 👍
But you can't use fully
some of it is already used by the android operating system itself (usually around 600mb or so) and this does not even include other apps you may be running in the background
