$100 for an update is crazy, it’s the same plugin with some new features and a few more sounds. Omnisphere don’t even charge that lol and I’ve bought all the expansions too OTB etc but cmon now

We carefully considered this process before deciding on the crossgrade fee. Peculiar Sounds V2 isn't just an incremental update with a few more sounds - it's a completely new plugin that offers a fresh experience. We've spent years on development, sampling, and rigorous testing to ensure it's a platform that empowers limitless inspiration and sound design possibilities.
To put it into perspective, similar major updates in the industry have also come with an upgrade fee. For example, when Omnisphere upgraded from version 1 to version 2, there was a $99 upgrade fee, which I personally paid. Likewise, I paid around $100 to upgrade to MKSensation X when Jamal released the new version. Even tech upgrades, such as paying $1000 each year for a new iPhone with relatively minor changes like USB-C and a slightly improved camera, are common practice.
Our goal with Peculiar Sounds V2 is to provide a transformative tool that justifies the investment with its advanced capabilities and expanded features. We hope you'll find that the value and potential it brings to your music production are well worth it.

I agree. An update should not be over 65% of the original price. I just can't justify this price. Especially given I also purchased the expansion. In total that would be 250 bucks. Common man. Loyal fans who supported this should get upgrade for 49 bucks
