- Here are the highlights from the Fight Club scene in Tony’s Jaa’s breakout 2003 movie Ong Bak: Muay Thai Warrior. This movie was the first in the franchise and highlighted the ancient art of Muay Boran, which Tony Jaa spent 4 years learning in preparation for the film. If you haven’t seen it, this scene is a lot of fun. And if you have seen it, it’s worth watching again. Enjoy!

Personally i think The Protector is his best work. The fight scenes in that movie r just incredible. The long one take fight scene is insane. And then the final battle is just bonkers. He breaks like 50 dudes’ bones at the end 🤣
Yeah, the fight choreography was insane in that movie. Especially the capoeira fight. Even though Lateef stole the show, you really got to see just how acrobatic Tony Jaa can be in that fight. Shame it got cut short because Lateef got injured.
I absolute loved this movie. Had the honour to actually watch it the theatre .

Sadly Ong Bak 2 and 3 had nothing much to do with the first one and turned into some weird fantasy Stuff (Especially Ong Bak 3).
People didn't like it at all. That was only working on really old times like all those Ninja and Shaolin fantasy stuff where they could fly around and had supoer human abillities...
I guess that's why his own series ended with him as main character.

Good thing I have no misgivings about fighting him. An elbow is great for opening up eye brows and cheek bones. But dropping them on the top of a skull, with the force pretended in this fight scene would break your elbows too. That’s not saying anything about his ability to fight.
