Please don't use the word *Dhumavati* for *Jumadi,* eventhough it is widely used by new age people in Tulunadu.
*Jumadi* is a Tulunadu Daiva which is half male & half female.
*Dhumavati* is one of the DashamahaVidya a 100% female form of devi. She doesn't wear any jewellery & sits on a horseless chariot symbolising poverty. She is considered ugly, & wears old, dirty clothes and has dishevelled hair. Further *Dhumavati* is a widow & married women are not supposed to worship her. Also, she is not a deity to be worshipped at home!!
*Dhumavati* is considered to be a deity similar to Alakshmi. She is usually worshipped by Tantric Practitioners to cause bad fortune to one's enemies. She is not a deity to be worshipped at home!!
