Hey, for someone who has never flown a quadcopter before and isn't sure it's worth the money. This is a perfect starter. You can see if you like flying it. And also get used to the controls, learn about the trim functions before buying one that's more expensive.
You'll be a better pilot too because it's easier to control the more expensive ones usually.
Haha what did you expect for 20 dollars? I think it's really good for the price.
@TheRcSaylors some drones require you to select headless mode before you actually start flying. Have you tried it like that?
You blame the drone, but is it possible the overhead power cables are causing blind spots for the controller signals? They always occur when you are underneath the cables.
its worth buying if u are into DIY and want to upgrade it. to get better flight, adding a bit of weight helps make it fly better and more wind resistant

I fixed my TH-cam account just so I could comment on your videos. Me and my 10 year old son love watching you guys. We are new to the hobby and your videos have been great. We both just joined the AMA and have 2 RC Planes The Delta Ray and the Flyzone Extra 300SX which is my model. We just picked up our first quad last night at a local hobby store. The Horizon Blade CQ Nano 3D which came RTF with a 4ch Spektrum radio but can be bind to other Spektrum Radios. Keep up the great work!

Oh yeah, I am here to say that you guys are one of the best if not the best rc channel! First, you are very interactive with you fan base (you actually reply to questions!) second, you work very hard on your videos to make them very high quality Also, you are very honest with your reviews (you make sure we get a good deal. And you are very dedicated, you will find the best quads at the best price so we don't have to! Like, the best fpv quads under 100! I got one of these a couple of months ago.
It flew fine each time I took it out. Until about a week ago.
Flew well. Crashed it into grass. One motor died.
Haven't bothered checking it out yet.

Hello guys, i was wondering if you guys knew of a drone that had the same specs as the Phantom 3 or 4 but was a little bit cheaper.
Could have been loosing signal. Does it get stuck more when it's near the back of the yard?
Yes, I think the signal was dropping out. Horrible range, just horrible. If it wasn't for that, it could have been a good deal!
Looks pretty close to being functional. Maybe some antenna adjustment would make it more reliable. Seems like mostly just a signal problem.

I find it much easier to fly with an "Xbox one" Controller, well RT is to go up, left joystick to turn, well you know.
if they dont have control problems, i quite quite like how this "class" of slightly larger, lightweight quads "feels". feathery is a good description. they're pretty quiet and nun-intrusive, manuver nicely with theyr large props, easily carry a little pfv cam, and batteries are cheap and plentiful. bummer there really arent any "decent" quality drones of similiar build.
We've stumbled across some decent ones in the last couple of years, just had a bit of a dud here. Thanks for watching!

Maybe try to see if you have a better transmitter that works and give this a chanse again? I mean it seems to be mostly the transmitter that was a dud? And wasnt it flying kinda ok, in the start. Mayne Frequent flier is right that something got loose inside that tX?
Yeah it would definitely be worth a shot. I'm sure it was a bad connection between the quad and tx, so another tx might be the fix.

Maybe the Transmitter is missing the antenna inside! Happened to me when I bought the Mould King Super S! Glad I checked because it turned out to be a very awesome quad! Anyhow, cool video! Popeye didn't seem to like it either :P
That's a very high possibilty, but most people buying this for twenty bucks wouldn't think to check that.. I sure didnt! Lol, thanks for the tip Frequent!
I have none of the problems with mine (except that the first one was beaten up so badly in shipping that Lightake had to send me a replacement). Interestingly, the antenna in this one's Tx is 62mm rather than the 31mm of most. Hated the sticks in the transmitter, so I had to change to other sticks. Otherwise, I like it quite a lot. It's no Super S or U807, but it has surprisingly good power for a 7mm motor quad and also has very quick reflexes. The props are the longest available that have a X5C compatible mount, so keep them for some other 8.5mm quads that could use some better props for more power.

I haven't seen the Blade CQ Nano 3D review on your channel but if you get the chance to buy and review one I think it's a great Ultra Micro Quad that has ASX-3 SAFE and great inverted and 3D capabilities and flys fantastic. We scooped up ours on sale for $45

as said before i havent really done quards before as im more in to Tricopters. but i finay decided to buy parts for a Racing Quard. i have a qustion tho would it be good or bad for a racing quard to tilt the Motors 10 Degrees forward ?

It has a place for a camera at the bottom but I don't own that cam so it's hard to say for sure.
