Great explanation👍 Well done Frank 🙂
I have it set up on a custom button, great feature!
Dear Frank, thank you for this video. I will take my OMD1 Markiii camera in addition to the Nikon to Kirgistan😊
very helpful, thanks
Nice one 👍👍
You never told how to use it like when you set you shutter speed with the? I will keep looking some one on TH-cam is bound to be able to explain the live nd and how to actually use it
Waht would be the difference between using liveND at 6 stops + 3 stops glass ND vs 9 stop glass ND?
Does live nd work with any olympus digital lens? I'm just buying the OMD e M1 mkiii ?
Yes it will work with any lens :)
I expected something a little more technical, something that would explain its limitations. I upgraded from the E-M1 Mark II for this feature, I chose the E-M1x for its GPS.
Synchronising GPS to a phone isn't really practical, I used four different cameras last weekend, three of them concurrently.
You can find more tutorials for this feature here: th-cam.com/play/PLi32uScKi2wxzxT5XGQ1AFqicvA8ijQWd.html
@@OMSYSTEMCameras The only one there longer than this doesn't belong there. I have previously watched the one specific to my camera. I want to know how it's done so that I can understand why my choice of settings is constrained. 32 images as fast as the camera do and then a Magic Blend seems obvious. I suspect it's no so simple.
I got the same effect with an OMD-EM1, which doesn't have Live ND, just by setting the ISO to Low and closing the apperture to F22.
Not Ideal
@@earlteigrob9211 It is ideal when you don't have an ND filter or live ND as an option. The result was very good, by the way, unless you were pixel peeping.
Nice all the pics made all over the world, in the forest, in Iceland, wild life in Africa, but who can pay for all those travelings? Just the happy few, most people have barely the money for the equipment!!!! Give examples for common DAILY use please!! Viele DANK!
I have often got good results in common things like water running off a modest bank into an under-road culvert. Frame it right and the viewer isn't able to tell that it wasn't taken somewhere in the Sierra Nevada forest. Open your eyes...
Schade in englisch.😊 ja ich weiß man kann den Text in deutsch einblenden lassen. Trotzdem blöd.
Live ND was one of the features why I upgraded vom E-M1 II to III, but since I can't use it directly in bright sunlight, I find it rather pointless.
Wai du ju schwätzt not in Deutsch? 😅
Since it links to the Australian shop I expect it's intended for an Australian audience.
We have links included to every region - Europe, US and AU. All our videos are intended for a global audience and not just one region :)
How about telling people what "Live ND' is and what it does otherwise this video is a complete waste of time!
YEP live ND is not the same as an real ND filter. More details would be helpful.
