Conway the Machine and Benny the Butcher along with Westside Gunn are all Cousins from Buffalo, NY. They' all started together on the Griselda label which Westside Gunn started but Westside Gunn and Conway the Maxhine are also signed to Shady Records which is why Conway has a single with Em because he's Shady debut album is supposed to be dropping soon.

Conway is good for sure! Fun Fact - his brother said Em's always been his favorite rapper. Nobody's ever made it from Buffalo, he was shot in the head so 1/2 his face is paralyzed, they made fun of him a lot he said for trying to be a rapper. As he said on a post *now I'm selling out shows and making songs with Eminem!" When you know the stories, it's pretty obvious why Em's some ppl's fav, right? Lol
Em comes in being entertaining with his vocals, flows, content, and wordplay. But here's what's different, Em's personal, so if you know the history you kinda become part of his verse.
For example, Fukin Pink. They are friends, and she ADORES him, so this will make her laugh. As a fan I'm amused Em said it, but also smile knowing her reaction. Remember the song "Don't Let Me Get Me"? Where Hollywood is trying to change her? Pink says" Britney is so pretty, that just ain't me". We know how Em felt about Britney, so Em's telling Pink "You were the one I fantasized about, not her!" Those bars are a Huge warm fuzzy for Pink! 🤗 Flamingo can go a few ways since he's high on the next bar 🤔😆😂
The Iggy thing - Em has a problem with stuff she's said as a white rapper, of course. He didn't come for her until she did a Twitter rant over the Lana Del Ray line. So Em does Vegas, she Twitter rants again, so Em taps her on The Ringer and Killshot, she Twitter rants AGAIN, so he taps her again! 🤣 As fans we've been watching this, and are amused as hell. As long as he keeps getting to her, he's gonna keep going, lol
The Nicki bar is a playful reply to Barbie Dreams, and he does a nod to 50 and his character on Power while doing it.
Meek is completely free for the 1st time in his adult life, so Em gives a shout out by referencing a time he was in trouble and tells ppl he thinks Meek is dope.

Conway the machine is part of the record label Griselda Records ( which Eminem signed ) consisting of him Westsidegunn and Benny The Butcher ( one of the best lyricists out ) the are from buffalo NY and basically run the underground street scene. Conway was also shot in the head and half his face is paralysed so the fact he raps with such a dope delivery is amazing .

In every recent eminem feature a lot of the other rappers have a better verse but I still like ems verse 100 percent of the time.
There is just something about the rawness,the flow, the rhyme scheme,the word play,everything. Em just bring something different to the table and a whole different vibe.

you ever notice that in his lyrics sometimeS he says em instead of them? Whenever he says em, it works out as if slim is talking about Eminem/Marshall.........I found a few bars where it didn’t make complete sense but overall it works out, and it makes everything so much better.....check it out, em instead of them...sometimes he’ll just say them, sometimes he’ll just say em, and sometimes he says neither, but it’s uncanny how it works perfectly.....it racks my brain, it’s quite the theory, but I wouldn’t put it past em(pun intended) let me know if it’s a reach, or I’m looking too much into it....either way it adds another layer and can sometimes be mind blasting....I’d appreciate feedback!!! there is an em/them rhyme scheme in this song, I keep finding more. Not sure if I’m crazy or Eminem is that much more of a genius....would love to hear what you guys think, cheers
What you talked about is actually what happened with Busta rhymes' "Calm down" .
Busta sent em a 16 or like a 20 something, then em came back with 48. So Busta sent his comletely new verse to em which was a 50.
Maybe I don't remember the exact numbers, but this whole process took about 7-8 months, and Busta thought about dropping the song and letting all the marketing go to waste.
