It’s empowering to ladies across the country to know they really can work on their own cars and vehicles by watching you! I use to work on my cars, never got to do anything big like this, but I helped with tune-ups, oil changes and knew how to change a tire, and change out the battery. Had to know things about the maintenance because I didn’t have a guy around to do it. Thank you Jeepsy!! ❤️❤️❤️
It's good you leaned to do this in a nice clean, heated shop. My first experience was on a very muddy dirt road covered in snow and not a clue as to what I was doing. Maintenance is everything! Hats off to the guys at RMB for letting you get your hands dirty. Most shops wouldn't do that-these ppl are exceptional.
WJ - just loooove to see you smiling, doing things with your hands, keeping busy, learning, etc - hey, that's what keeps life so enjoyable; when you stop all that you're dead! You inspire all of us!
Finally a nice day to fix trucks. Fixed my 97 ford 4x4 exhaust studs with 2 4inch C clamps . No more waking up the hood when the kid goes to work at 5:30 am. Complaining should stop .
You'll be okay, Love. A little automotive goo won't hurt ya🙂. It doesn't make the best hand lotion, but it won't hurt ya bad. Even with those twin post lifts, it's often handy to have a little short lass around to poke around under a vehicle...as taller guys can brain themselves under there.🤕 The reason you fill 'til it runs out is, you don't want too much in there...as that stuff expands when it gets hot. Super cool of Mike to help you learn . The more you know about that rig, the better off you are. Hugs, Cutie🧡.
Hiya Sarah great job , greetings from the UK ,working my way through the rear suspension of my mother's fiat 500 to remove a nasty clunk. Ive just got a notification and low and behold your working on your Jeep!!!
I love your photography. My Dad was a photographer so I grew up with tools of the trade all around me. Your photos are stunning. I bought the 2024 Calendar and I love it but I really want to see you in it. You are what fascinates your followers. We travel vicariously through you. We want you on every page along with Little One and your mesmerizing scenic photos. The photos seem a little lonely without you in them. Let us join you.
Kudos and a big high 5 to you for getting your hands into the work. We used to live on a boat. I had to learn some engine and electrical skills so you could maybe get out of more trouble if the boat broke down while you were out in the water. You need to at least accurately describe the problem. Great skill learning for the adventurer that you are.
Want to help me rebuild the front axle on my 46 Willys Jeep? Hahaha! I will tell you, those are weird and even the guys in the shop might cringe because of all the shims that adjust the bearings so they aren't too tight or too loose. Have to use a scale to check them! Then there are 3 different types of axle shafts that go in them. Mine was a cobbled mess. 2 different axles, worn out bearings, zero brakes, WHEEEEE! Hahahaha! You did great. Pro tip when filling axles with grease. Hold fill tub against the top of the hole and fill slowly. When full the grease will run out past the fill tub at the right level under the tube. Happy Trails!
Okay Sarah you made me laugh with your "put in the hole and pump" pun. So I'm sending you pun just for fun and maybe a smile in return. Hear goes. You could take my driveshaft out and install my driveshaft anytime.
As an old timer from the film industry , and as a constructive comment you need to work on micro phone placement as quite often your voice is very hard to hear over the back ground noise ,other wise Im enjoying your Vids . John Keane .Au.
Hi Sarah. Can you tell us What you did, to require a new drive shaft??? Some kind of funky off road bummer?? Go on, you can tell us 😏 Thanks Much. Drive Safe OK 🌝 💙 🧡 🤗

I remember seeing a sign in a garage that said shop labor is $60 an hour, $75 an hour if you watch, and and $100 an hour if you help. Great videos
Love your home
It's great that you want to help and learn, looking good 😎

I think she already knew how to do most of these things before she started working there.
That reminds me, if I'm giving my daughter my Wrangler, I'm going to have her change a tire. Dad taught me.

It is always good to know more about what makes things work. Lots of Love, James
👍👍👍👍👍, stock driveshafts don't usually last long on a lifted Jeep and with some decent wheeling.
Because of the angle
Sarah the mechanic, I love it your a natural. Fun doing things on your own vehicle isn't it. I work on my own Mustang and I love it. Have fun. 😎👍

Yup, it will help you work under it when it's cold and not enough light. Your hands are numb.
