We deserved to lose that game. Apart from the 2nd half, we were shit the entire game. I know Gakpo is really bad but I also think a question needs to seriously be asked about Luis Diaz and his output, apart from moments where he dribbles past players, he has no output in terms of assists or finishing and makes the wrong decisions during games. Our right side of defence was terrible today. It looked like Van dijk was doing all the work defensively. At 3-2, we should never be losing this game, pathetic game management from both the players and klopp, the players making ridiculous passes for no reason (darwin for utds 3rd). Klopps subs were wrong too, they basically killed our momentum in the 2nd half and cost us the win in the first 90mins. Overall, we deserved to lose and I don't think anyone can argue with the result.
Diaz was incredible in his first 6 months. Since then he’s been found out. Szobo is going down a similar route, good in his first few months but has been poor since the turn of the year.

Nunez has improved this season but he still needs to learn when and when not to shoot. Every time he gets the flipping ball he just wants to shoot instantly even when the shot is never on. The amount of turnovers his decision making costs us is getting a bit out of hand. He is a problem going forward for opposition defenders but he needs to improve that side of his game quickly otherwise it’s just going to keep contributing to our slight defensive fragility in the latter stages of the game and the early stages when we aren’t generally switched on as a team

I will confess, i chose not to watch this match reaction. I knew it would be a hard watch for a number of reasons. The only saving grace is kopish is not a United fan channel. Dealing with losses is not easy, judging by the comments. Footballers are blessed because they get to play football for a living. Fans are blessed because we simply have to watch and expect to win. It's clear the pressure of football rivalry is becoming overwhelming for plenty of people. I would suggest to everyone, every now and then, take a break. We were so wateful today. Our decision-making in the final third leaves a lot to be desired. The phase of play where we had a 5v2 situation, we should've killed them off. Really poor today. Darwin Nunez needs to turn those near misses into goals. Gakpo really needs to wake up because he was shit today. And Cal, Quansah was partly at fault for the first goal. This is my one of my favourite LFC channels but I think that the player ratings are too generous at times. For example, giving a keeper an 8 when hes hardly had anything to do. Just my opinions. I think the ratings were too high for the defenders and midfielders. Sobozli for instance. His final pass or lack of was extremely annoying. Just shoot son....quickly. Endo did well at times but was got in behind him too often. Back 4 didn't hold the line well today. We lost 4 3 when it always seemed like we were a sensible decision away from scoring or making a chance. That is a definition of poor (in my opinion). Klopp clearly wanted to treat this game seriously. Beamed around the world. Big ticket allocation. The boys let the boss and fans down. I think Matt said something similar. We were arrogant. The Gakpo and Bradley subs didn’t make sense. I personally wouldn’t have brought Bradley on and shifted Gomez to LB, tsimikas should’ve came on as a direct sub for Robbo and left Gomez at RB. In hindsight, it's best we got this type of loss at this stage as it gives klopp and the team the time to critically reflect and improve on their shortcomings which have been apparent for some time. Ie the ability to breakdown teams in import stages of games. Nottingham forest, Luton away, arsenal away, man u and man c at home are some examples. Hope with the likes of Jones, Trent , Allison and bajetic coming back we have solid options going in to the run of games. I have a strong feeling that bajetic can be an x factor. Matt is spot on and callum (as usual) expects miracles in every game. Poor decision making from our team cost us this match and united wanted it more cos its all they have to play for.

I will confess, i chose not to watch this match reaction. I knew it would be a hard watch for a number of reasons. The only saving grace is kopish is not a United fan channel. Dealing with losses is not easy, judging by the comments. Footballers are blessed because they get to play football for a living. Fans are blessed because we simply have to watch and expect to win. It's clear the pressure of football rivalry is becoming overwhelming for plenty of people. I would suggest to everyone, every now and then, take a break. I would suggest to Kopish that sometimes a match reaction should be done a day after a game, give everyone a little time to compose themselves. Every team loses games, how the team and its fans bounce back from those losses is just as important. It doesn't always have to be the biggest extemes of emotions. YNWA

We were so wateful today. Our decision-making in the final third leaves a lot to be desired. The phase of play where we had a 5v2 situation, we should've killed them off. Really poor today. Darwin Nunez needs to turn those near misses into goals. Gakpo really needs to wake up because he was shit today.
And Cal, Quansah was partly at fault for the first goal. This is my one of my favourite LFC channels but I think that the player ratings are too generous at times. For example, giving a keeper an 8 when hes hardly had anything to do. Just my opinions.

Football is like a job where you can have a bad day at the office and today was one of those days so let's not do the blame game, plus with all the injuries we have I think winning all 4 competition's was really and truly far fetched and let's not forget nobody expected us to be title contenders let alone still be in all competitions at this stage, yes we lost the game we shouldn't have lost because we was 3.2 up and we should have seen out the game but yo! This is not directed at Callum or Matt, but there should still be a level of professionalism when on the after show regardless if you win or lose. I think the ratings were too high for the defenders and midfielders. Sobozli for instance. His final pass or lack of was extremely annoying. Just shoot son....quickly. Endo did well at times but was got in behind him too often. Back 4 didn't hold the line well today.
We lost 4 3 when it always seemed like we were a sensible decision away from scoring or making a chance. That is a definition of poor (in my opinion). Klopp clearly wanted to treat this game seriously. Beamed around the world. Big ticket allocation. The boys let the boss and fans down. I think Matt said something similar. We were arrogant. Felt that from the 10th minute when Sobozli could have fizzed it across but decided to pass back to Gomez to blast it into the stratosphere. Lastly Dawin was better than Salah. Glad this arrogance was paid today. We will be stronger now.

The Gakpo and Bradley subs didn’t make sense. I personally wouldn’t have brought Bradley on and shifted Gomez to LB, tsimikas should’ve came on as a direct sub for Robbo and left Gomez at RB. The chopping and changing really unsettled us coupled with the more the game went on. It was a recipe for disaster from the moment they came on. Gakpo on the right doesn’t work I never wanna see him there again, if we bring him on it should only be on the left for Lucho and Harvey should be Salah’s replacement on the right or start Harvey and use Szobo on the right off the bench

In hindsight, it's best we got this type of loss at this stage as it gives klopp and the team the time to critically reflect and improve on their shortcomings which have been apparent for some time. Ie the ability to breakdown teams in import stages of games. Nottingham forest, Luton away, arsenal away, man u and man c at home are some examples.
Hope with the likes of Jones, Trent , Allison and bajetic coming back we have solid options going in to the run of games. I have a strong feeling that bajetic can be an x factor. Hope the for the best ynwa

Small margins. One less game is one less game. If it means 3 points at Old Toilet and we go and win PL then fine by me. We lost CL and PL chasing the quad last time because we ran out of steam. Every margin helps. I'd rather get knocked out of Europa and concentrate solely on PL now. That's all that matters, everything else is a distraction!!

The right way to attack when you have #s is this:
1. Release the ball to your best passing wide man EARLY. Elliott in this case.
2. two Fs run hard, 1 to each post, to drive the D back and split them.
3. The 4th man slows down and drifts into top of box awaiting a pass from the winger if he he doesn't have a good shot and neither of the other 2 are open ... THIS guy will be then! EVERY TIME.

The notion of attacking players favoring a foot should turn into a thing of the past anyway. Attackers should train young 2 b both footed like Jota and Messi. Makes you infinitely more difficult 2 deal with.

Blessings guys tbh the game should have ended 4-2 b4 being 2all but we left the door open also from 2 seasons we’ve been complains about Klopps rotation but he’s trying this season because it’s farewell which one could argue it costs us maybe a treble or quad playing favs but in this game today he should have left Salah on but through the middle in a 2 with Nunez look at how Man U had McGuire up top switching formation and Klopp not adapting being tactically inept but I love Klopp and we will miss him in a big way but these moments takes him off Mount Rushmore imo Salah and Nunez should be up top stretching their defense especially when they have a great understanding and on the break as they started to tire salah’s fitness would have conquered them. We needed not the changes with Gakpo in midfield when he’s weak. We needed Salah as soon as he started getting on the ball he’s subbed made no sense. Joe was good for right side Bradley is not the best in the air and they were dumping and lumping the ball b4 he made the sub. So he should have seen Gomez taller, inform and more pace with experience. Klopp made some mistakes with too many changes and I would have preferred Clark b4 Gakpo because Clark adds tempo and sometimes he’s too into running but I prefer him as he plays our way much better with his hustle and recovery. Gakpo then went to the CF position which kills our press so we relinquished our possession. This game was on Klopp imo but hopefully we get another cup for him as it doesn’t seem much is going to change b4 the end of the season.
Also Drifty this is Man U a grudge match and it won’t ever be done seeing they parked the bus on us to get a draw. Gakpo don't fit Klopp system and if Klopp was staying, I would say sell Gakpo this summer, but a new manager with a new system and tactics may get the best out of Gakpo.
