The D7 Delay is the redesigned multi-delay effects pedal in The New Micro Series. Using the 7 signature LED lights as a guide, this pedal houses 6 customizable digital delay effects with the sixth LED indicating the built-in LOOPER that can be used in tandem with any delay setting. Like its sister pedals in the New Micro Series, all of these effects are customizable and storable for your convenience. Tap Tempo functionality allows you to easily set the desired delay timing and of course, with the “Trail On” feature, delay effects fade out naturally and organically.

Just bought one, sending it back. Can't imagine who in the world needs this.
Hope you guys make a version 2 in the near future, with subdivisions and an external tap tempo jack (please!). That would seriously be the most amazing mini delay pedal!

Does the tap function only work when the pedal is on? Can I set the tempo when the pedal is not active? I apologize for my English.

20 yrs ago that pedal would have been 10 times as big and cost 6000,- bucks lol
I had one... Messed around with it for about an hour, sent it back to amazon.
Same with the " synth" pedal (nothing but a glorified, overly complex octave pedal).
The " tape" setting is actually usable, as long as you dont turn the filter past noon or use the vibrato at all. Beyond that the rest of the options are just awful. The looper is useless, and " finicky. It also picks up the click of the switch.
most of the delays have 2 overly obnoxious modulation that MIGHT have been ok if they had a mix knob. Step phasing, Barberpole flanger, " stutter"(squarewave trem) and slow roll swells both wet and dry to name a few.
Id be willing to bet that if these were in stores for people to try before they bought, nobody ever would.
I just got one today under 50 shipped what a disappointment . Very cheesy and hard to dial in a good sound and when going to another mode you loose the one you just spent 10 min dialing in. The looper is weak as well the Lekato pedal is good over all one or two of the seven are just ok Was going to get the A7 but after D7 PASS
@@54pjs the r7 isnt bad. But ptetty genetic " multi reverb" stuff. The spring has some drip, and the room/ hall setting is unobtrusive... But i had to spend a lot of time figuring out " sweet spots". Idk. I dont really want to waste my time with the a7. If its ANYTHING like the delay, or the sytth pedal its just not going to be usable.
@@earlycuyler2295 I agree the D7 was a big waist of 47 dollars it does have some nice ambience when dialed in very limited pedal more glitter than real tone a little cheesy.. Not to bad on violin but limited lots of tweaking.
And this introduces noise in the fx chain too, what a disappointment

Does the modulation setting always sound like background effects for a sci-fi movie, or can the mod be set to something "Edge"-like +subtle?? (-like the Mooer repeater? -which I would've bought if it had trails, +now this has trails but the mod sounds like something from outer space..) A common problem with delay+reverb pedals is the manufacturers try too hard.. Delay+reverb pedals don't need to have that much wacky stuff built in, they just need USEABLE quality sounds, ideally small size, and trails.. I may still waiting for someone to do that (or is the "Galaxy" mode actually a subtle "mod" mode?? Anybody, own 1 of these, who can answer this? Thanks.)

The pedal is just OK IMHO got one and not very impressed. I have a Polara that is way better than this and not even a delay pedal like a canyon pedal. Also have the EHX Tone Tattoo that blows this out of the water but pricey and not made anymore. I think these new Mooer pedals are way over hyped got mine cheap
When using the loop function, are you able to use any of the delays?

I think about 1.5 maybe 2 max using tap tempo. I have one D7

I just got the D7 and not to impressed some of the sounds are very cheap cheesy sounding and hard to dial in a good sound and when switching from one mode to another you loose your settings you dialed in on the previous mode. I would think Mooer could do better than that I was going to get the A7 but after the weak D7 performance I better be safe than sorry. I do like what i heard on the A7 but after D7 might be another bad buy?
