I have been to Uganda 4 times since 2015. I haven't been able to travel back because of Covid and personal issues. I love Uganda. It's my choice of Africa to live. I have been to Nigeria twice and I don't have the freedom in Nigeriaas I have in Uganda. . People are friendly in Uganda. Being invited to dinner is so welcoming. I love going to church and visiting the school too. I miss my Uganda family. I met some challenges in Uganda but not in comparison to Nigeria.
I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 65 dollars a month. It was secured and gated too. Love the morning fresh air and the food. I never had a issue with my language but Kampala was a daily life everyday for me. With the guidance of my Uganda family I didn't get to have any issues with purchasing items.

I would suggest you prepare and plan. everywhere there are challenges in life but you can turn those challenges around if you do research, study navigate solutions against odd problems. It is not the most developed nation as yet and that is where thousands of opportunities are for rising entrepreneurs. I wish someone would open Domino Pizza which provides gluten-free pizza in Kampala

I think Uganda is the opposite of the United States in terms of driving, and accents, I think the Brits would have the greater advantage. I also think Uganda is a great place to be and needs to be explored having said that Africa is home and a family you need to find where you belong and integrate. Invest in what makes your life comfortable and settle down. I began to watch your program during King Obutunda hope he's settled.
