I have been to Uganda 4 times since 2015. I haven't been able to travel back because of Covid and personal issues. I love Uganda. It's my choice of Africa to live. I have been to Nigeria twice and I don't have the freedom in Nigeriaas I have in Uganda. . People are friendly in Uganda. Being invited to dinner is so welcoming. I love going to church and visiting the school too. I miss my Uganda family. I met some challenges in Uganda but not in comparison to Nigeria.
I stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment for 65 dollars a month. It was secured and gated too. Love the morning fresh air and the food. I never had a issue with my language but Kampala was a daily life everyday for me. With the guidance of my Uganda family I didn't get to have any issues with purchasing items.
I would suggest you prepare and plan. everywhere there are challenges in life but you can turn those challenges around if you do research, study navigate solutions against odd problems. It is not the most developed nation as yet and that is where thousands of opportunities are for rising entrepreneurs. I wish someone would open Domino Pizza which provides gluten-free pizza in Kampala
@@nancyamitocan2457maybe you should start one - business opportunity.
@Shirley thanks for sharing. Hope you get to visit again soon and preferably settle in Uganda 🇺🇬.
If you have some one on the ground esp Ugandan, you will save yourself a ton of problems. Ugandans are generally hospital. You will come for good one day.💖
It's $65 a month anymore. Maybe $65 a night now, if you're lucky.
This podcast shifted Uganda and east africa on a whole way up the list for me. I hope I am able to get myself in a position soon where I can travel and see these countries and maybe relocate
It's great
Do it, it's an eye opening experience
Just do it
Come come!!
My husband made the move. No regrets! You can, too. 😊
Big to love to all Ugandans from South Africa
If you don't beget children , u will have everlasting life. Heb 7: 3. N Gen 17: 13 , 14 n 7 are the verses clues from the Bible.
The available data and developmental trends suggest that the East African region might be on the brink of an economic boom. There will be challenges, of course, but it seems they will be worthwhile in a few years.
I think Uganda is the opposite of the United States in terms of driving, and accents, I think the Brits would have the greater advantage. I also think Uganda is a great place to be and needs to be explored having said that Africa is home and a family you need to find where you belong and integrate. Invest in what makes your life comfortable and settle down. I began to watch your program during King Obutunda hope he's settled.
Thank you Kenganda for opening up Uganda for blacks across the world your program provides insight and information from the perspectives of guests which is so impactful
@@nancyamitocan2457agree 👍. Oh miss @KingObutunda too! Hope he is okay 😮!
I like how king obunda stay with people the man is cool I know is busy now days but I wan him back coz he a lovely brother
Kenganda i wish i did know someone in Africa certain countries...😊watching from the USA 🇺🇸 🇯🇲🇯🇲
We are all brothers, we welcoming , am Ugandan but based in diaspora aswell. Just get the flight and travel to Uganda buddy
Start with Africans living where you are....
Wagwan bredren 🇯🇲
Great Episode. Brother should invest his money wisely and stay away from candles.
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂 he is a young king and needs queens in the motherland...
I like this gentleman’s demeanour. Very nice and peaceful.
Me too! First thing I noticed. Seems like a very well brought up young man!
I can like Uganda because the money dollar goes farther than other east African countries but in terms of infrastructure I will choose Rwanda and Kenya
I don't fault you
My brother and I are so excited to visit Kenya and Uganda
Welcome !
Welcome🎉
this guy is NOT going to relocate in Africa why ... because he wont be able to earn the same amount of money that he does in the United States. he is NOT going to earn the same money as a truck driver in Africa or helping the candle makers.
😂😂😂😂 $1 a day = about 3,700 Uganda 🇺🇬 shillings that can get you a huge plate of local organic well prepared food in so many towns and in Kampala the capital from local vendors. What does $1 buy in the USA 🇺🇸 get you 😂😂😂😂? AM waiting......it's all about the cost of living 😂 not how much dollars they're paying you.
@@LetsTravellChannel he said it himself he only goes there once a year and needs to make money. if it were so easy he would be living there already.
@@LetsTravellChannellet's be real though. As long as they're not making American salaries nothing would give them an advantage that's why the whites who come earn in their respective countries of origin and spend in developing nations. Unless they intend to be the boss and not the epemplyee
If he's a truck driver he's probably even barely at his home in the US so what difference does it make?
@@professorxnew-man3410 most of the people online only talk about living in a different country. You either need to already have money or a pension or a way to earn money in the other country otherwise it is a dream.
Joanita: "Oshay, where do you wanna be found?" Oshay: "Nope!" LMFAO! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oshay is messy as f... 😂😂😂😂
Thanks, I truly enjoyed the podcast interview!!!
I feel it's our responsibility as people who have experienced life outside of Africa (Diaspora) to introduce recreational centres like Community Centres, YMCA, bowling centres, local Parks (green areas) etc in every local African Village by pro-actively attending Village meetings where we live and contributing in developmental projects. It'll take time but we've to start somewhere. ❤
Candles is good business,my suppliers run out of candles and they keep saying they don't have material.
I gotta say i did go to Ugandan because of Oshay, although i already was chatting online with a few females from Uganda back when Oshay was still anti African. I met a couple of Ugandan sisters on fb during the pandemic and that was the extra push i needed to book that flight ✈️ 😌 I been there twice now..
Brother Oshay, the Ugandan government should not charge you taxes and should give immediate citizenship for Advertising Uganda. I'm glad you did not buy her a brand new iPhone . Please don't even buy an old iPhone for any of them. Jaunita you gonna have to tell our sisters in Uganda to stop begging. That's very shameful. They gonna run off all of the good brothers from the good women.
Why would the government just be throwing citizenships to random people anyhow ? And why wouldn’t he pay taxes yet every business in Uganda pays taxes
@@gizzanubian2970great questions. Thanks
@ggmb women and girls are on this planet to receive. Don't be stingy and cheap.
😂😂😂 The headline😅 so Ugandans should feel honoured & lucky that you chose to live in their country. 😅😅 the entitlement of it all😂😂
No. But honored that the kenganda team is promoting the positives about uganda and encouraging the diaspora to visit.
You probably land on those that are not working
O'shay always outting Jo. "Jonita got a date tonight"🤦🏾♂️ Now the paparazzi will be all over Kampala.😂
😂😂😂😂
Uganda 🇺🇬🇺🇬 the pearl of Africa
Negotiating is crossing cutting.
So I pay to get her, pay while I have her, pay if she dies and pay if she leaves😮
Please could you compare and contrast African past and current responses to terrorism (past and current) in comparison to the United States and Israel and explain what lessons developing countries could learn when it comes to tackling terrorism and what Africans in such conditions do not wish to learn from the respective responses. Thanks.
Y'all this young King has great positive vibes, laid back, calming personality, and good points!! Enjoyed the discussion very much! Thanks Oshay for bringing him to the show and the rest of your team. Hope you invite him back.
I've this brother from the dating show!! Glad to have him in the motherland!!
I understand when he says; speaking slow for Ugandans to understand.
😂😂😂
Have heard that in the states too...telling immigrants to slow down, speak slowly 😂😂😂😂
Yeah we started in East Africa, and then went to West Africa, next will be South Africa
In Nigeria nothing like over charging we don't look Africa American as a outside Nigeria we sell same as they sell to Nigeria
No let dem consume you for hia o wit dis your talk😂.
😂
If people Black American You want to Investing In Teaching Uganda 🇺🇬Open school for Costome services or Costome care.
Also English language as everyone wants to learn African American accent
Invest in what makes you happy
And yasss East Africa is the best
Agree 💯
I would say invest in what makes you the most revenue and live wherever you want. Business should not be conducted based on emotions
Kenganda, you guys are awesome ❤
You know he lying when he say it is because of the food.
What's wrong with the food?
Sorry but I'm "francophone" I don't understand the "pumping ugly " with The ugandan woman...
There’s a bowling alley in garden city
