Danielle..I would like to see an interview with Jasper...ie...what his interests are...hobbies...other activities other than cowboying...school etc. I always love seeing Jasper working.
Good gracious where has this video been for 3 months? How'd did I miss this one. Jasper is a real deal cowboy that never complains and does a mans job. Job well done. Jasper.
Hennson & Todd sure can cowboy. Jasper is certainly destined to be a top hand. The drone footage of the sorting in the alley gives us view seldom seen of fine horsemanship.
I love how you work the lasso, no beating with sticks or fighting with the cows, basically a game of cat and mouse, the video views are brilliant, thanks from Ireland.
Jasper is a natural working cattle. I really enjoy watching him work. He just knows when to push. Where to line up and when to hang back. And he has the confidence to do the same work as the men on a smaller mount. The cows don't try and act crazy just because he's on a pony. My prediction someday he'll be doing the work of 3 all by himself.
I am retired and will be 66 in December I am from East Tennessee watch all ur videos just bought a filly out of a own son of Meticat keep them coming please
This is an amazing vlog! Danielle, you've hit this one out of the coral: the drone views, the music, the soundtrack and your commentary, wow! Simply beautiful
Love the new aerial perspective in your recent videos! You are handling the drone camera really really well I think: Downright artistic in many respects (that plus I prefer calf branding viewed from afar (ugh)). Keep up the good work!
Well then you don't mighty fine job but that drone to good looking shot Hansen is done amazing job for Jasper He's a real little cowboy and Hansen is amazing man to do what he does with him horses with the kids with the cows and everything he is a true cowboy behind a good cowboys always a good cow woman so thank you for the drone footage I really enjoyed it and keep them coming down I'm sick I can't get out of the house That's all or anything that I got so thank you from the bottom of my heart
No I have c o p d I have to be on o oxygen 24/7 I wish I could get better but I can not but thanks anyway the video helps me so thank you again I hope you're new friend Billy❤
I have a friend that has it also, she was able to actually get the items and she can put it in her saddle bags and she's lucky enough to keep riding. I hope you can get something to get you out of the house. Good luck. @@billywarpool3625
10 year's is the best age- you don't have any fear and if you love horses you get the feeling for them very fast. I started with 8 year's, too. But I was not so lucky to grow up on a farm and I did not have this kind of good horsemanship with 10 year's. Sweet 🙋🇦🇹❤️🐎
ROFL ... calves trying to sneak out with the horses. And the horses somehow know it's not about them today. The overhead drone and the gate views make it clear how much the horse is doing. Great filming!
Danielle, you are an amazing videographer and you're becoming an accomplished drone pilot! There might be new career opportunities. If you ever consider a greeting card line, a still of that smile on Jasper's face when you asked if he was ready is priceless. That's one happy cowboy!
Really great filming , and a bonus of listening to great music track ! You guys make cattle sorting / weaning look easy which l know from experience isnt the case .... Great video / drone work Danielle .....
Great video Danielle, the camera/ drone footage your voice over and the music. You definitely have a talent for it! Look forward to the next vlog. Tracy from Australia 🇦🇺
'That Jasper is one top hand for his age, better than most of the "weekend cowboys" I worked with. Love the drone footage of the vastness of your territory.
That’s a lot of great cutting. An amazing video on how it should be done. The teamwork of horse and rider is a lesson for humans. Let’s work as a team and see what can be done.
The perspective of the drone footage is great, it gives a much better view of what everybody in the yard is doing at one time. Your editing is really smooth and the panorama shots are beautiful.
Jasper 🤩 and Gizmo 🥰 did great! Loved the early mix of horses 🐴 and cattle 🐮in the drone view. I say this a lot, but your ranch is so beautiful 🌄 and you work so hard 😎
I do enjoy watching! Is Henson riding a cutting horse? He is cutting cattle ,right? You don't have to have a trained ACHA cutting horse to sort cattle do you? THANK YOU FOR POSTING!! I like to see cowboy Jasper riding Gizmo.
Gizmo is a great looking pony! Jasper is growing up so fast. I have no recollection of Crazy at all. 😊 I'm jealous of your drown skills! Mostly, I've only ever cashed a drone.
That was a good video. I saw those testis and thought Wow, how old do they let them get until they make steers out of them! Henson sounds like his dad and that is a busy house!
To each their own. We like to make good horses so that’s why we’re always horseback. There are also times when an ATV is better/easier/more convenient for the job.
Personally I think it sucks. I realize they usually do it to save time or don't have enough good help, but it makes the cattle so much easier to handle when they are worked on horseback, BY GOOD horseman.
How do you guys know what days to ware chaps/leggins and when not to ware them? Is it easier to sort Cattle or Horses? Where is Jerry, why is he not helping the guys? Well Done there Conner working the gate while sorting cattle.
I was there when we started branding but I had another 2 groups of cattle to attend to and water along with getting some horses off the railroad while they gathered and sorted. It’s great to have a good team that works together
I'm not a horse person obviously but I love horses and I really would like to understand between bit and bitless does the bit hurt them or make it easier to control them I'm really curious and really would like to know your opinion a bit or bit less and what would you prefer and why
A harsh bit in the wrong hands could hurt- even a halter can hurt if enough pressure is used. We like bits and think of them as a tool. We like the philosophy of using the lightest pressure possible whether in the mouth or leg pressure. Just because someone is riding bit less doesn’t mean they’re a better horseman.
I really enjoy your channel! Someday I hope to get a real easy trail horse. I rod a lot as a teen and some later. Now I'm too busy working. I love that your horses are raised on the range. do they get extra feed when the forage is slim?
Oh Danielle, you don't have a bad view! That was cool to see, but having the ground level shots are great too. Are you kidding? Sorting cattle is the best thing in life on horseback! Whether it's sorting pairs or Ranch Sorting, nothing more fun.Nice work by all. Kinda of been going through withdrawals for videos though.😁
This video took me a long time to edit! I couldn’t decide on what to narrate and what kind of music… how much footage to use… haha. So I sit on it for a bit and let the dust settle before I decided what to do.
Crazy and Sensei are both available, email info@painteddesertranch.us
Sensei is sold
You do this everyday people's can only watch wonder how😊
Danielle..I would like to see an interview with Jasper...ie...what his interests are...hobbies...other activities other than cowboying...school etc. I always love seeing Jasper working.
I don’t think we could get very many words out of him, he’s shy
Good gracious where has this video been for 3 months? How'd did I miss this one. Jasper is a real deal cowboy that never complains and does a mans job. Job well done. Jasper.
💯
This is visual storytelling at its best! Truly professional quality and very, very enjoyable. Thank you!
Great to hear, thank you 🙏🏼
Hennson & Todd sure can cowboy. Jasper is certainly destined to be a top hand.
The drone footage of the sorting in the alley gives us view seldom seen of fine horsemanship.
It's like watching a tight zone defense ... makes me want to yell TOUCHDOWN whenever they let a cow through and turn back the calf.
@@lazygardenswhat a great analogy

Thank You Danielle for the great video. There is nothing nicer then seeing a good crew and good horses work cattle thanks for sharing
High fives to Jasper for his cowboying and Conner for his calf ride!

Love the drone footage, Danielle! That way we can see the whole process. Can't believe Jasper is only 10-year old! A natural indeed!

👍 that was always my favorite time the year working cattle.
Hi Bob from Alberta really liked the sorting both the drone views and the music
Jasper is a natural at that. I thought that was one of the adults at first how quick that boy is. Hes great!
He IS a natural!!!👍👍 And what a wonderful video, thank you!!!
Yea, Jasper's got quite the knack for reading the cattles moves.

Gismo is a cute stocky little pony. Even I would enjoy riding him. Luckily I don't weigh over 110 lbs so I think he wouldn't mind it at all.
Danielle very awesome video . Great drone footage very cool
I just get the biggest kick out of Jasper! One hard-working young man!
Good morning here from Romania I greet you with respect Marius Daniele 🖐️🤠🇹🇩❤️

We call it sorting 😁 you can you any horse that is capable. This is a young 3yr old that Henson is using.
Gizmo is a great looking pony! Jasper is growing up so fast. I have no recollection of Crazy at all. 😊 I'm jealous of your drown skills! Mostly, I've only ever cashed a drone.
Crazy is for sale! She is a #czarbaby!!!
I did enjoy that! I’m going to have to show that to my ex. He is a Missouri cattleman and they do things very differently. Do you eat the oysters?
I don’t, but Jerry and Henson will. Here is a video we made of oysters: th-cam.com/video/Ck2hsox5bt8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Xfp1g4nrro_hPAMG
That was a good video. I saw those testis and thought Wow, how old do they let them get until they make steers out of them! Henson sounds like his dad and that is a busy house!

Henson wears his leggings everyday. They’re always with him. Horses move way faster… so maybe cows
