Just got one for Christmas from my kids. I’m an underwater photographer and videographer and wasn’t sure about keeping it but you have presented the product well and I’m gonna keep it
I'm thinking of using this in a river; in depths between 2 and 15 feet. any idea how it would do againt a steady on-way current (roughly 300-500 cubic feet per second? Are the lights sufficient in relatively clear water that is below 5 feet deep?
I was looking at a Fi Fish and I ran across this one this morning . They make a reel for these that unwind the cable and wind it back up I want a drone with a claw on it but want the reel kit to go with it . Just a hobbyist be so cool to go down and retreive phones and fish pole etc jewelry. I wonder if you can get a good package deal with the claw and the reel upgrade. Very good video my man I like the way you explain things On a scale of 1 to 10 what would you give it
Definetely FiFish. We use both the Chasing and FiFish at work (Commercial Diving Company) and we use our ROV almost daily. And I have to say that I anyday rather use the FiFish.
Never managed to get mine, going ,tried everything but just wont connect..Turned Wifi on..phone manages to fine Wifi to contoller no problem and connect..but app start button just stays greyed out with the ROV light flashing on controller, tried with my IPad..same thing. So its just sat in the box for the last 18months
Take it to a hobby store that sells RC boats, cars and planes. They are usually pretty good at fuguring out problems like this. Or else google it. Or send an email to the company.
@@clearsailing7993 Thanks, I did email the company and the response was first class, in my case because it hadnt been used for over a year they told me to do as follows "the battery is in an overdischarged state due to a long period of non-use. In this case, you need to charge the ROV for more than 24 hours to activate the battery for normal use" Even though i charged it previously i needed to do it for over 24 hours and it worked!!

Great video! I recently purchased one of those. It did not come with a connective buoy or carry case.
I have a question for you, I saw this drone on Amazon, the one on Amazon said upgraded, what is the differences?
Very informative and useful, thanks!
Cool to see. Is the built in camera less good than a gopro in cloudy water? Or why attach a GoPro?
Agree, the external SD card can be put behind somewhere, and can be accidently broken too
great review ,,but how aobout using in rivers with current? canit go against the stream ?

I agree with your comments having use one myself.

Have you ever compared this one to the Chasing Dory drone?
Debating between this and FiFish V Evo

Are the batteries in the drone Lithium or NiMh?
What is the usb-c used for, it doesn’t charge my phone?

I have the advance (kind of old) but looks like it's a lite version of it more than anything, nice review man
I'd be super interested to see a drone like this but even half the size. That could really make it more appealing to a wider audience.
@@paulAntill for sure, also i think is even cheaper to manufacture than the big one so, another reason
Hi. Do you get 4hrs out of drone?
I use a gaff to retireve my ROV's. Gently hook the prop port to lift it. Do not have the prop running!
