The one problem I had with for honour is it isn't exactly accurate to the 13-14 hundreds which it's based around as Viking were actually skinny due to lack of nutrition and would easily die after a single swing samari armour isn't wood it was actually made of metal plate in the shape of scales as there armour was designed like that because of there culture and finally knights they didn't except women into there army's and were made up of shield walls or horseback mainly and being honest nor Viking or samari would pass the shield wall as it was made to stand most attacks with one knight protecting his fellow Knight also a Viking axe shouldn't be able to stab through the knights armour in the middle he would have to aim for the joint's the weakest parts in order to cripple or kill the knight samari on the other hand could probably push there sword through the armour plating
1. For Honor isn’t based around any given time period. In what world are Knights, Vikings and Samurais close enough to fight with each other. 2. A Dane axe (Viking axe) can easily severely wound plate armor no need to aim for the joints. While a katana from the 13-14 would bounce off the armor. 3. I’m tired of people thinking vikings we’re just a weak desperate and starving faction that could easily be taken down by any dumbass with a sword. They we’re farmers with too many mouths to feed so they resorted to navigation and raiding for supplies. 4. Japanese samurai armor that resembles dragonscales... if you did any research you’d know that samurai in fact did utilize wood but it was paired with sheets of metal provide good protection and flexibility. Although the armor they used in 13-14 hundreds was rather heavy. 5. The knights in this game are a mix of different factions that were similar enough to be called knights and women could infante be knights depending on the faction. 6. Knights doing shield walls lmao 🤣. Romans and Vikings are the only factions known to use shield walls in their strategies. 7. The katana is among the more underwhelming among the samurais arsenal. Their bows, the naginata and the nodachi were leagues above it. For Honor has a more realistic depiction of the factions than whatever you just said.
Víctor A wood could easily be impaled by a sword and even if Vikings weren't starving don't you think the more developed factions knight and samari would be more better as they are trained in battle a lot more skilled than they are and Vikings wouldn't all be that muscular as what are they doing steroids only a few people during those ages were like knights warden shouldn't be female as women knights weren't traditional and not seen as strong not being sexist don't know about peacekeeper as i don't have a clue what she's supposed to be history didn't really have assassin creed wannabe around like that and ik the shield wall was used by lots but in breach no ai got think's of using it when it was an adaptive strategy if it stopped horses then normal knights wouldn't get through except hero's as the game can't be that overpowered hell even Viking could of used it on that game mode back to samari even if the kensai didn't have it orochi sorry for name spelling on that one shagoki should wear it he takes thousands of hits with no armour on jeez he's hulk but he should have it etc as it was a traditional armour for them knights again yeah axes could probably impale it but plates are better than wood cloth and muscle
