Seeing Frelick charge Sterio and bear hug him first before the team mob makes me so happy to see, Crew always seems to have good team vibes going on, especially under Murph's guidance!
If Pat Murphy doesn't win Manager of the Year, there is something seriously wrong with Baseball. Pat Murphy, his FIRST season as Manager. His pitching staff decimated with injuries. Free agents signed to offset the loss of Corbin Burnes, all get injured. Our closer, also out. Yet even though they've needed to use 15 different starting pitchers this year so far, they've still been able to stay in first place. He has been noting short of phenomenal! Every single aspect of this team has made significant improvements. Especially the fielding. The Brewers have been a decent fielding team. Even though we got snubbed for the Gold Glove Award a few times. But Blake Perkins, Jackson Chourio, Wily Adames, Sal Frelick, and Brice Turang have all been making highlight reel top 10 plays. From Homerun stealing catches, leaping/climbing the wall, diving catches, and other plays that defy the laws of gravity. Baserunning has been, well we've been a fairly quick team, but this year? Much better decision-making choices than previous years. A higher stealing percentage overall, and more steals by almost every player. Some have either matched or surpassed their last years stats. Some even has set career highs in steals and we've only played through half the season! Our team's batting average has greatly improved as well. 3 players hovering at the .300 mark. Power oddly has been the one thing that hasn't greatly improved. Odd because over the last 4 games the Brewers have 3 Grand Slam Homeruns and 1 Inside the Park Homerun. The Brewers have used their speed, and their great decision-making skills to manufacture runs. Pat Murphy's managerial skills have proven to be exceptional. This team looks to be having a blast playing again. Sorry for the long comment but the Brewers have so many great players. Pat Murphy DESERVES, EASILY DESERVES to win the Manager of the Year award.

Its crazy seeing a team that consistently leaves runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 or less outs, still find ways to win close games. Once they start consistently bringing guys home this team is going to jump to the next level in the NL
@locustjohn3865 most of their losses were because they were leaving 7+ guys on base a game. The series against Philly they had multiple opportunities and never capitalized. The fact their numbers are still top 10 shows how crazy they can be at full potential.
@@deadpool1092 So you're saying the team would be undefeated if they only came though more often?!? Gotta love "fans" that completely don't understand baseball.
@locustjohn3865 no I'm saying they'd have a few more wins of closer games which towards the end of a season make a difference. Getting 2 more runs in a 6 run loss means nothing, but losing by 1 when you had 8 opportunities to score sucks in general for any team. It's not about saying hurr durr if x y and z happened they would never lose but rather imagine how many wins could have been picked up if they got some runners left on base across in tight games.

Hope that the brewers picking up Keuchel’s performance here gives him a lot of confidence during the rest of the season.
He would make a solid 2 inning pitcher. The style the Brewers use these days.
I love the brewers but why would we start him I get we already won the series but only 5 games up like good thing the offense was cooking

7th in MLB in batting average with runners in scoring position. 6th in Slugging. Good gracious, so horrible.

Brewers. Sweep the World Series champs in the regular season. Lose in the first round of the playoffs. A tale as old as time.
Hopefully, it changes this year as the NL isn't as strong as it's been. Just have to worry about the Dodgers and Braves.
And Phillies 😅
@GiannaLarson definitely forgot about them lol. Yes the Phillies
And the Cubs and Cardinals.
@James-hd4ms depends on how the wild cards play out. I can't see 3 NL central teams in the playoffs but it could happen. Lot of season left

Brewers have a better record than the Craig Counsell lead Chicago Cubs.
Jeff Levering stinks.
