@@fioredeutchmark this is their first series win since the brewers series, they clearly struggled on the road and travelling abroad, it was pretty obvious by the time they came back to play Boston they were exhausted, and with the Dodgers and Yankees coming up soon, it's nice to see them come home and look like they're back to form. What did I say that warranted a douchy response? You think they've been playing to their potential since the brewers series?
They had a very long road trip, not making excuses just calling it how I see it
@@mikeniciicas right, it clearly took a toll on them, as well as losing jt, so getting Turner and marsh back and getting back home and winning the first two of 3 in the fashion they did, is exciting to see. It appears like they're back to where they were a month ago. Plus, gotta say, Castellanos is doing a nice job at the plate lately.. seemingly since he got moved back down. This other commenter is just tryin to hark on my buzz and I ain't havin it Haha. I'm having to much fun watching the Phillies this year.

Casty is as genuine as a guy can be. You will never have to wonder what is on his mind. He loves hot weather. His average will climb during the summer, as will his power numbers.

Castellanos is a true hitter, he’ll break out if this slump soon enough, and be back up around .275 by the end of the year!!
I think hes already out of it, hes making better contact consistently. Last few games hes really showed up
The Phillies literally broke 2 franchises the year they went to the world series. The Padres and the Cardinals, they have not been the same since the Phillies desroyed them both that year

Yet another game we stayed until the final out and I’m glad we did. The last game we were at, Kody Clemens ties it in the ninth with a bomb against the Nationals, and they end up winning it. This ended up being a great daddy daughter game.

awesome finish, had a good feeling after the Schwarber bomb and it played out. Great throw to second for the tag out. Good effort by Christian to try and steal the homer. Good team win, with Nick topping it off. What a great celebration ! Go Phils

First and foremost, I knew it was over for the Padres when they put Tatis in the field. Second of all, that bottom of the 9th inning was electric I got goosebumps. Third of all, despite having a bad day for ABs, Stubby is still a good player. You can't expect him to be exactly like Realmuto and immediately be 100% better- just saying 🤷♀️

I’m all for adding a star bat to the outfield and even getting rid of caste in the offseason but I just don’t think you. An move him during the season. The chemistry is just to good on this team.
Bring in a bat and closer but keep caste and hope he gets hot in the playoffs.
Outfield could use an upgrade. Merryfield should go by the trade deadline.
Looked like a good addition but he’s disappointed this season.

The fans are absolutely crazy. The walk-off was silent until Tatis missed the catch and then the fans went nuts.
The love how the Padres catcher reacted when he hit the homerun, he acted like he hit it out of the stadium, it barely went out and to be honest Pache should have caught it he jumped a little too soon and just missed it. When the Phillies beat them in the playoffs they absolutely broke that franchise, they have been a below average team ever since even though they have a ton of talent, the Phillies also broke the Cardinals when they beat them in the playoffs below average ever since.
He wasn't getting that ball.

Glad Stubbs is a good guy in the club house but he is just over matched at the plate. He needs to the the emergency or BP catcher at this point and let someone who can actually make contact play.
